In the history of Nigeria, no politician has ever spent meaningfully on infrastructures in their constituencies the same way Gbaja has done to Surulere constituency. Not even a governor.
Only Ambode also tried similar to Epe but not up to what Gbaja did.
May he be blessed!

I don’t understand.

Did he build these facilities with his own personal funds?
So, who will administer these resources?

No one will hold him accountable if he fails to do. Let's learn to celebrate those that still spend out of the money they embezzled for the public in NIGERIA where corruption has become a norm

You do know that these are Federal Government funds that have been invested in Lagos state in his capacity as the speaker of the house, Where Gbaja was an inefficient speaker that rubber-stamped Buhari incompetent laws.

Exactly what I expected from the average foolish Igbo that questions Gbaja for all the great work to be commissioned while their wretched soul celebrate a failure like Abaribe who spent 30 years in the National Assembly with a single project to his name even if it is not tangible.

Many of you Igbo clown need to be stoned I swear to God.
Go away with your miserable life and don't quote me

Are your Elected Officials forbidden frm influencing the President to invest Funds In their State for Constituency Projects too? Or na bench warmers them go do for Abuja? Abaribe has been in Abuja Federal House since the return of Democracy this mashanfani has never Commissioned any Projects in His Senatorial districts Yet His State Citizens keep returning Him there

If you Calculate all the allowances and Salaries this Rep and Senate Members earn in 3 months you will know it can fund all this project within a Year talk more of all they will be Paid for their 4 Years tenure Yet they won't do anything that is to show they are wealthy enough to do it but are just Callous and lack conscience Even in the Saner Climes they loot there but they still develop their Countries

I am not saying Gbaja is a Saint but granted is the same loot that Abaribe who has even been in Government Office and other elected officials before Gbaja has been looting why haven't they Used it to build meaningful projects In their States? If other Elected Officials have been emulating Gbaja maybe Nigeria would have been like the U.K we all love to Japa to

One perosn even asked the JB signage you igbos celebrated in Abia did Alex Otti put it there with his own personal money ?!

My Constituency Rep member and Senator don't even do anything yet who has ever held them accountable is it not Someone you See you go even hold accountable? Like the Yorubas will say Eni to woju Iyawo lo mo pe on sun ekun'

Yet Someone who chooses to do even if He looted they are Stl attacking Him

They should focus on projects that have a DIRECT impact on the lives of Nigerian masses.

So general hospital and community development centre don't have direct impact on the masses?smh you guys are so used to chop chop politicians that you don't even know what can have positive effect to a community.

Gbaja is surulere's pride, unlike a certain body part harvesting politician languishing in jail in the uk.money ekweremadu should use to improve the lives of people and and make his constituency a model, the fool embezzled to his fill, now the chicken has come home to roost, the mumu is in jail.

I've lived in surulere before shitta precisely and also aguda including bode Thomas.....

No politician has done more for his or her constituency like Gbaja, Surulere is arguably the best place to live in Lagos,in terms of good road network, light, water and other basic amenities...

I've never benefited from any politicians but let give kudos to who deserves it,This man really tried,I was surprised when I get to Lagos recently, all those low cost housing estate have been renovated and painted by him . like I always envisaged.

Well done Gbajabiamila

The best road network in lagos is at surulere, literally all the inner roads are tarred and lighted . Nigerians really need to start asking what their reps do with all the money they collect if 50% of reps behave like gbaja Nigeria will not be in economic crisis.
