Wayne Rooney has been relieved off his duties as the Birmingham manager following his recent run of poor results the club has recorded since his appointment as the club's manager.

He [Rooney] has taken to his social media page to announce this and has also wished the best for Birmingham City going forward.

According to him, 13 weeks were not enough to do achieve what he needed to achieve with the club but he is grateful for the opportunity and will spend more time with his family while waiting for another opportunity as a manager.

Rooney was a great player and still building a career in management.

I said it before now that he won't last the season with them as their manager, dude was running them down faster than they expected. He should go and join his colleagues as pundits, that's what they are all good at.
