1. Censored and tight control over the media.

2. Projecting herself as the grandmaster of infrastructures. Especially to help their BRI cause.

3. Using the distrust of mainstream Western medias to propagate all sort of disinformation.

4. Whipping up national sentiments to gain political points at home. A good case is the Japanese release of nuclear water . Not that China actually cared about the environment they have dumped the most worst nuclear water. They are just using the attrocities of the Imperial Japan against Chinese people in the past to curry political support from ye masses.

The impact of Covid on China's economy is widely ignored, people don't realize how much that Covid has cost them, their economy is yet to recover but people think all is well with China.
