.....that's actually the case bro. Question you should be asking is; who leaked those internal memo, not even to the press, but directly on twitter [X]?!

That is the point I am making. If this issue was as widespread as us claimed - the opposition woukd have used it extensively against Buharis administration well during the last 4 years.

That doesn't matter na.

That's why it's politics. Whatever happens during your admin will be used to flog you.

I'm not disputing your position. I quite agree with most of your takes but the policies that has immediate impact on the common man are the economy, security, good road network and stable power supply. All these fall on the FG's table. Fix these and all other things will fall in line.

Are they wholly so? Well, let's see...

It's the agbalumo/udara (because it's really not African star apple or of the apple family so let's call it by native names) season.
Itsrm bought 4 for #500 in Port Harcourt days ago. Pricey.
Meanwhile baskets of the fruit aree rotting in farms and bags in interior Benue and border communities of Cross River. #100 would get you more than you can consume even in a day.

To get to Port Harcourt, you go:
Benue (and the many communities) > Cross River (very large and strenuous terrain) > Akwa Ibom > Port Harcourt.

Let's really break it down:

-Fuel price hike: FG's fault (1)

- Benue bad internal roads: SG's fault (1)

- Benue insecurity: FG (2) and SG (2)

- Cross River - Benue Road is bad: FG (3)

- Cross River bad roads: SG(3)
- Cross River insecurity: SG(4) and FG (4)

- Cross River - Akwa Ibom road is bad: FG(5)

Already these factors have multiplied the selling price of the fruits even in the trailer due to costs and risks.

- Akwa Ibom roads are good so point against SG here.

- Security not Iceland level but no challenge.

- Akwa Ibom - Port Harcourt road: FG (5.5)

Port Harcourt roads are good so no point against SG here.

Extortions by police along the roads so FG(6.5)

FINAL SCORE ON BLAMES: FG 6.5 vs SG 4

It gets to Fruit Market, D-Line, Port Harcourt. Or Oil Mill Market if it's a Wednesday. Then gets retailed to the woman on the street.

And that's how the brother on this thread ends up buying just 4 for #500 for what is less than #30 at the source.

That's how price inflation of perishables happens.

You still think state governments have no role to play in the inflation we are experiencing? The facts have been laid bare.

Never really rated katt William but after this interview I don reconsider.. wetin that guy do Jonathan Mayors no good grin

The one wey I no rate at all as a comedian is Kelvin hart.A great Actor but a meh comedian

Kevin Hart and Chris Rock are terrible stand up comedians

Dave Chappelle is intelligent, his jokes are layered. While Katt Williams and Eddie Griffin are just naturally funny from their look, voice and accent

My experience when I visited Lagos. Tried crossing at volts while going to Alaba international. Okada plying one way almost killed me because I was focused on the right traffic and the lady on his bike rained insults on me that day. I come believe say some seemingly normal people are loco personified in Lagos.

The main reason why Betta Edu’s own was exposed is that she didn’t “carry along” her ministry’s Directors and Perm Sec in her malfeasance. There is no way her stuff would be leaked if she acted as a proper Naija politician

He's so neck-deep in illogicality, he doesn't realize the "Ada is a boy" premise he used is a wrong statement in itself. Ada is only a boy as Emeka is a girl.

That's certainly not someone one should have debates on reflective and thought-provoking issues with.
He should better stick to Real Madrid discussion

Mine are Dave Chapelle and Patrice O'Neal, and maybe to demonstrate i am not racist i might add George Carlin. Chris Rock and Kevin Hart are not funny to me. Chris Rock's tirin gbeku voice is quite annoying.

Be like wahala wan sup for Alao-Akala’s family on top his properties as baba no do will before he died

Akala died at about 70yrs old, he knew he had multi family as in polygamous setting. Yet he didn't think he should make a will? So make his survivors begin dey carry themselves go court and start jazzing themselves?
Shows his anyhowness of how he ran his personal life and how he ran the state.

Though he is from my town, he is the worst governor to ever rule the state with his Buje Budanu politics

I agree with u , it makes no sense for a wealthy man to die intestate at age 70.

My senior colleague who died aged 47 in the year 2020 had a trust which her family members still dragged with her husband for almost 2 years before they agreed to a mutual out of court settlement .

This Akala matter will be like Nigerian election for the lawyers cos every family member will collect their own SAN to get a piece of the cake.

I think it’s just fear of death that makes Africans run away from putting down a will.

Of course, they have.

I'm not absolving them of the blame. I'm simply saying we are not wrong if we put more energy on FG compare to SGs. We can beam the light on them too. All I'm saying is that, for people to call on FG most of the time has to do with policies that affect their immediate needs/living.

I gat you Sha.

If people see the chaos that follows when people die they will try to put more structure on ground

Imagine your assets even bank account access with everything in it no one has access. I had a friend who died recently. Actually last year, he has a very young family. His only child was about 1yr old he ran a business and his wife was largely a stay at home who didn't know much about the running of the business. There are suspicion that he probably was paying for a landed property but the wife nor anyone knows anything about it. He mentioned it in passing to his younger brother abroad that he will take the brother to the property when he comes home in December.
So the seller will just chop whatever he has paid and sell the land to another person

He was not even sick for long just was going to a hangout at the parking lot slumped from HBP related aneurysm and never got out of it

Another case someone told me, A joint business where the partner paid a huge amount into his partners account, the partner died suddenly now how to retrieve funds from.the deceased bank account without a mandate.

Them say dem drag the case for almost 3yrs and even caused major issue between the 2 families

I already have a will and a trust which I will update with every major life event

Having a will or trust is the way to go but families still contest it.

That my deceased colleague was married but never had a child with her husband before her demise . I guess her family and the husband were never in good terms ; even her elder sister claimed she told her she was making plans to divorce her husband .(

Unfortunately she died from a sickness that lasted j

ust 2 days while she went to celebrate festivities with her hubby while her husband was in Lagos. When her trust was opened and it was discovered she willed everything she had to her husband (whom they never shared a child together ) without any mention of her family , the family kicked and it became a major issue .

When the court case was dragging too long as per naija matter na, the husband had to bow to pressure to share the windfall with them cos things were actually not going well for him financially at the time of her death and she had some millions in property, pension and insurance death benefits.

So, the thing is that there are areas where it is very active...Not all

Also, the difficulty in movement is when you want to move between two towns. It is easier to move within a town.
