Not a big deal if there are no other hidden charges.
Of cause there are plenty more charges ...lots more

Tax charges
Bank charges
Telco charges
SMS charges
...and more

You transfer 10k and spent almost 200 naira even cheaper than POS

Nigeria is gone

They have been doing this for years now.

Sometimes without any deposit, they would just remove the so called "electronic money levy". Buhari really show us pepper.

Please can someone explain this properly. So for example payment made to my company by foreign customers will be charged now, dating from 2021?

So if in Year 2021 total number of transaction was 15 with the total amount of 3 million. Does that mean 50 naira will be deducted from 15 transactions made? Because I don't understand, so what deductions were made then payments were been made then?

It is actually a big deal. Remittance from diaspora to families will be deducted as well.
People abroad help family at home so they dont go without. It's like a support line to those who otherwise will be without and vulnerable. Why tax themhuh
