I had my biometrics last week Tuesday(2) and it show eligibility completed on the tracker yesterday. I qualify for the Can+ category cos of my Us visa. Just wondering if anyone has an idea. Thanks

I think it varies kinda.
In my case my decision for approval was made days 4 days before now and passport requested. Just today I received a message from IRCC that my eligibility has been completed. Eventhough I just submitted my passport yesterday and waiting for pickup. Just be patient.

Tick yes you have been refused before

I have been refused on 3 occassions ,all on non immigrants visa,at the Us consulate in lagos Nigeria,i believe in 2015,2017 and honestly another year that i cant specifically remember, please attach all the US blue refusal paper on each occasions if tou have it,also put there if you have been refused Canada visa too before

don't mislead people with your advice abeg,attach all 3 refusals letters ? Who does that ? Abeg . If you dont know much about the Canada application processing procedures and how to package documents, dont advice . Thank you

@mojisolani. thank you as I have said I am not sure if it’s 3 or 2 times us refusal, I am sure of 2 and secondly I do have South Africa Visa on my old passport, but was refused SA visa when I wanted to go again in 2017 on the same old passport, do I have to mention that as well.? I thought Canada only have eyes on the big 4, us,uk,new zealand and Aussie. Can u clear me on that?

Am asking because in few days time, it will be 5 months since I did my biometric. I need some advise.

I submitted for the visit visa on Aug 11th 2023 and did my biometrics on Aug 17th in Abuja. I missed a letter asking me for my passport which was sent to me on Nov 8th 2023- to be honest, I don't know how I missed seeing it in my email. I read the letter on Dec 12th 2023 but I was outside Nigeria. That day I sent a CIC form to the Lagos office requesting that I send my passport to a nearby Canadian consulate as I am not in Nigeria at the moment. Today I received a message with a 'refusal letter generic' stating that my application was refused because I did not submit my passport.

Mislead? Some of you guyz dont even have ordinary ghana visa,because you manage to submit Canada applications, you come here to come and be saying person they mislead,was it on this platform that a lady was issued 'Procedural fairness'where the VO said she did not declare US refusal, the lady husband wrote to the VO and direct the VO where they attached the US refusal letter with other document and they later.send them the PPR,we dont just advice ,we do based on information at hand,for you information i have 5years Canadain visa ,5years US visa and on different occasions 5 time UK visas, shengen yapa,,,i want people to get visa thats y i give advice here noting more

MY family Canada visitor visa was approved from london Uk and we are on a UK student visa

Wife and two kids Application submitted on August 31, 2023 AND 5 years visitor approval September 15, 2023 ( just 10 business days )
Mine - Application submitted on September 27, 2023 AND 10 years visitor approval October 25, 2023 ) ( 22 business days )

Both of us acknowledged our U.S A. denials in 2017 and 2019. Initially, I failed to declare mine, prompting me to withdraw the application. Subsequently, I submitted a new application after completing a webform disclosing both the U.S. refusal and the cancellation of the initial application. In total, I submitted two webforms – the first addressing the U.S. refusal and the second addressing the application cancellation. Following that, I proceeded to submit a new application on September 27, 2023.

We spent two weeks in Canada and have now returned to the UK.

So you can wait it out, Or just cancel the application using a webform and reapplying again immediately
