madubaymi: The town isn't stagnant as evidenced from the video. Both the past and present Governments touched and dualized the major roads and individuals have been building factories, hotels, services, schools and other business centers. The problem today is the insecurity that was focused on the area alongside nearby Ihiala in Anambra State chasing rural dwellers away from home. Bring back security and everything returns to normal in few months. 6 Likes

Abagworo: Orlu roads are not only about these principal roads of Orlu dualized by Okorocha govt Inner streets/roads of Orlu are all gone. That's what people grumble about. The washed out streets/roads of Orlu were built during the admins of Mbakwe, Amadi Ikwechegh, Tanko Zubairu, Achike Udenwa, Ikedi Ohakim, Rochas Okorocha. Ihedioha started to rebuild some but could not complete before he left. . 4 Likes

In front of returnees to Orlu for Xmas, it's like Uzodinma Hope now wants to authenticate the rumour that he is behind the troubles in this part of the state. 2 Likes |

kinematlcs: A modern town without public water supply system does not deserve the name: city. No major town in Imo state has treated public water supply system. The huge public water supply systems of the three once major towns of today's Imo state - Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe - are supposed to be functioning today, if not for the unending clannish manoeuvres in Imo state started by Owerri people. There is hardly any state govt social infrastructure or institution that has grown in Imo state after establishment.. 1 Like |

When more than ten federal and state housing estates in Imo state are all cornered for Owerri, as if no other place exists outside Owerri in Imo state, it's hard to understand why Owerri has not expanded more than Abuja or even Lagos? IT'S ON RECORD: THERE IS NO OTHER STATE IN NIGERIA WHERE ALL THE FEDERAL HOUSING ESTATES ARE IN THE STATE CAPITAL. Once Abia and parts of Ebonyi were carved out of present Imo state, people of Owerri converted Owerri to become Imo state. They don't care a hoot what goes on outside Owerri. 2 Likes |

Shut up your dirty smelly mouth. In all the history of your cursed backward useless dirty imo state your backward cursed imo state hasn’t seen state based overall development like Anambra has seen, this is why till date most imo indigenes have refused to leave Anambra to return to imo state. Anambra is by far the most developed state in igboland both by government and by individuals and I am one of them while you have nothing to show in your state. Imo is yet to produce a single governor that’s ready to develop the state. Imo is yet to produce one governor in the mould of Obi, Obiano and Soludo. Imo has been producing fraudsters as governors since all its history. Uzodimma and Okorocha are well known 419 kingpins. All that I have ever said about imo state are facts and you know it . If you are me I will open a thread to compare Anambra and imo state in all facets of development. I know that your ego has been bruised by all that I have been stating but you cannot change reality rather go and tell your leaders to develop your useless dirty backward cursed imo state Abagworo: 4 Likes |

Shut up your dirty mouth. We need all these arguments and debates to prove a point. Abagworo I invite you to a debate between Anambra and imo states in the following areas of developments. 1) education 2) infrastructure 3) human resource development 4) airport 5) international conference centre 6) state government performance 7) individual performances commerce 9) economic development and activities 10) housing 12) healthcare 13) school Add more if you know anything I left out . I will prove to you in all these topics that Anambra is the America of ndi imo state, that’s why most imo indigenes prefer to live in Anambra Ttipsy: 4 Likes |

Nchenches:hunger will use your people fo training, that is why everything is expensive in orlu, starting from umuaka, they've wasted the little land they have on bungalows, can't you invest in agriculture which is the new gold in Nigeria today, foolish people. |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Pascal9: 1:56pm On Jan 10 |
Abagworo:ask him, he is not advertising his people to invest in agriculture, Which is the new gold mine in Nigeria, in fact who ever that feed you is your master, igbos will learn this in few years after the have wasted all their little land on building bungalows |

Pascal9: Have the completed the Owerri to orlu road, uzodinma expanded ? |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by MrEverest(m): 2:29pm On Jan 10 |
Pascal9: Lol, even though your concerns are genuine in terms of land conservation, but there is little or nothing you can do about it. Nigeria is a capitalist country, not socialist. You don't force people to use their land for agriculture or whatever purpose. They have the liberty to make that choice. The agriculture you're even referring to, is peasant farming which is bad. Peasant farmers are often than not, very poor. They're usually at the lowest level on the food chain. I think Igbos should rather encourage greenhouse farming. We don't have enough lands for massive plantation farming. Israel is a force to reckon with in agriculture, despite having small land, even smaller than Igboland! What they did was to maximize their optimal yield through innovations and technology. As small as Igboland may be, we can be able to produce 5x more food and other agricultural output than even Northern Nigeria. That's where technology and innovation comes in. 3 Likes |
