I remember when Barth Nnaji was removed, that marked a declined trajectory in our power sector.
Ditto for when Kemi Adeosun resigned, Emefiele began to operate with restrained and completely wretched the economy. So far, Tunji has not been directly linked to fraud and so should not be thrown away.

Betty on the other hand does not have any leverage either in terms of performance or even credentials, so using her as a scape goat will help put every other person on their toes.

To some people especially obidents, this is more a political point for them but they don't know that this man remaining in office benefits them more than him leaving the office.

Bro, I am living testimony to the amazing work of this man I never believed possible.

Under Aregbesola last year, I was told my 'express service passport would cost me around 175k. They gave all manners of excuses from scarce booklets plus this and that to justify the whopping fee they wanted that would then be shared all the way to the top.

As luck would have it, I did not need to travel hurriedly anymore and chilled. Interest arose again when Tinubu became President and I read about Tunji-Ojo clearing 200k passport issuance backlog in record time as he promised to do.

I decided to try and at least know whether the dude was real or stage-managed hype. Went to the portal, filled the form online and paid online too. 25k passport fee and 1k card charge.

I chose my own date and passport office as well. My appointment was three weeks from application date. Attended Ikoyi passport office for biometric capture and was done within two hours. A record since I have been attending any Nigerian public office.

Two weeks later, message to confirm my passport was ready. Simply amazing. A process the former Minister of interior under Buhari had concocted lies, deceit and frustrating wickedness around, I navigated easily and got what I needed relatively stress-free as obtains worldwide whereas Aregbe and his gang have made same process hell-on-Earth for Nigerians.

Of course so many will want Tunji-Ojo out of office. If he has done this in 3 months what more wonderful things is he capable of doing for Nigeria over four years?

Conversely, we all know how much money the whole entrenched immigration corruption machine, that Atiku used as a lauch pad for his billionaire status, is losing daily. Awon influential oga at the top must be livid as fck.

If Nigerians are not too divided, bigoted and myopic to note what is best for them then this is a man to fight for because even if you hate his ethnic group, religion etal then only lunatic sadists will hate the fantastic job he is doing for every single ordinary Nigeria as Minister of interior.

This is not a situation any Nigerian should misguidedly side with our powerful and evil enemies-of-progress. Nigerians should put parochial sentiments, emotions and biases aside to support someone who is giving us precisely what we want, from his administrative portfolio, that dignifies us as human beings as others have long been enjoying for decades now.

Who does not want an end to the meat market corruption process, physically and mentally, getting a Nigerian passport used to be?

We now want to go back to that instead of the promise land in March, fully automated passport issuance process with no human contact, Tunji-Ojo wishes to take us to?

If you ask me, that is the gamechanger the powerful enemies of Nigeria's progress want to prevent him achieving because such will totally destroy their access to corrupt billions they have become used to collecting for decades via the enslavement and misery of Nigerians.

Few weeks or months ago, civil defense did a promotion, 25,000 personnels sat for the promotion exam, the bosses of same organization wanted to promote only 5,000 personnels, they sIated the money that the staffs who want the promotion will pay for their name to appear in the 5,000.
It was this same minister that stopped it by promoting 21,000 as agaîñst the initial 5,000 that would have generated alot of money for the bosses.

Fallacy of hasty generalization. I'm Obidient but I believe this man is the only person in the present government who is working excellently.

Truly, from what he has done in immigration, he belongs to the few personalities that worked passionately for the good of all. I categorize him among great people like Dora Akunyili, Okonjo Iweala and a few others who fought against cabals.

Tinubu would be stupid to remove him because he is the only minister boosting the image of his gloomy government.
My statement says "to some people especially obidents" I dón't know where u got the generalization idea from.
There are obidents who wiII fîght to retain this man in office, I know Iots of them, I know one who praised Tinubu because he got a promotion he has been deprived years ago immediately Tinubu got to power.

Who's Renewed Hope Collective?
You shouldn't be surprised if it's run by Ojo himself, his family, tribal or religious bigots who insist that as long as the thief is our thief he must be a good thief. That's the reason simple accountability is not followed in Nigeria, because there's always a mounting parochial interest unwilling to let justice take it's course.
Ojo is obviously doing some good work at the passport office, but there's no need to pay for and mount such an orchestrated campaign to protect him even before the investigation is started. Well, unless he actually has something to hide.

You know exactly what's up. My experience at the Ikoyi passport office ,under Tunji-Ojo, was like an out-of-body experience as I could not believe the rowdy 'meat Market' where corruption bids were made openly and shamelessly , last time I was there over 5 years ago could, could be this organised and sane.

There was an Igbo guy, saw from his name tag, who took downloaded application from us and inspected it as first line in the process. Super efficient, professional and courteous. No demand for bribe at all. He inspects, advises you per documents you need and approves your file for conveyance upstairs if all is in place.

Upstairs oga was a Northerner who was equally polite and professional. Signs your file and tells you to proceed to front desk. At front desk, they provide final approval and you then go to join the queue for fingerprint and picture snapping.

That too was quick and very efficient. All stations were manned. They ferried everyone along in their seats quickly.

The batch of guys I went in with were all done in 10 minutes and many were expressing amazement. You then get a blue card with numbers on it . They take your phone number and tell you to bring blue card and your old passport to collect your new passport when they notify you by phone. That was it.

A civil and quick end to a process that had been abject misery for Nigerians for 8 years under Aregbe. I felt like cursing that man when I left the Ikoyi passport office.

One man influenced this behaviour from so many whose natural instinct is to extort, deceive, sicken, stress and depress Nigerians.

As I left Ikoyi passport office, l felt a mixture of joy and optimism for the future tainted with extreme sadness over the reality that wickedness and inhumanity of Nigerians against Nigerians had caused so much pain for our ordinary citizens for decades.

Passport issuance is now a process fully automated online, start to finish, in most nations of the world to the extent it is virtually a universal state of Affair. Tunji-Ojo promises this fully automated passport application status will be will be our reality in March.

We want to lose all this and much more for a witch hunt our 'slavers' want to use in keeping us down so they can continue looting our wealth while simultaneously maintaining us as beggars over things we deserve as virtually fundamental human rights?

Good luck to Nigerians. #EndSARS to help Yahoo boys escape SARS harassment they took to the street for yet some of those same Nigerians want Tunji-Ojo out likely because of his ethnicity and political affiliation.

Personally, if they succeed hounding out Tunji-Ojo then Tinubu should take that as his cue to deliver regional governance faster than he had planned. I am tired of a people so hateful of each other to the extent the average Nigerian now operates with a 'Crab in a bucket mentality'.

The president can grant a presidential pardon if he is found culpable, thats his prerogative but to insinuate that performance should confer special immunity on him is a bad precedent. Its not even fair because you'll have to apply same treatment to all persons found culpable but performing if you wanna be fair including those in prisons

Bro, you have time and patience for those guys. Give their mother, with two days to live, your organ that saves her life and the bigoted ingrates may still be plotting bad for you because of your ethnicity.

They hate you more than the good deed you did that they directly benefit from and that their own kinsmen cannot render them. That is what is at play here because no Nigerian can lie they have not been impacted positively by the work of Tunji-Ojo

Truth is that it is irksome and tiring to be constantly dealing with these people and their hate-driven destructive indictment they try and mask as constructive criticism.

Like I said earlier, if Tunji-Ojo is hounded out by Atiku-like 'oga at the top' in immigration and politics then good luck to Nigeria.

Let Tinubu just jejeli hasten each regions march to full autonomy and we can go our separate ways administratively so that those who want to be 'crabs in a bucket' forever will have full freedom to engage in pull-him-down syndrome to their hearts content in their region.

Conversely, those who love progress, development, unity and peace can have the freedom to gain those in their autonomous region.
