Owerri to okigwe
Owerri to mbaise/umuahia
Has anyone be completed?

All those dual carriageway that hope started 2022/2023

Lol, even though your concerns are genuine in terms of land conservation, but there is little or nothing you can do about it.

Nigeria is a capitalist country, not socialist. You don't force people to use their land for agriculture or whatever purpose. They have the liberty to make that choice.

The agriculture you're even referring to, is peasant farming which is bad. Peasant farmers are often than not, very poor. They're usually at the lowest level on the food chain.

I think Igbos should rather encourage greenhouse farming. We don't have enough lands for massive plantation farming. Israel is a force to reckon with in agriculture, despite having small land, even smaller than Igboland! What they did was to maximize their optimal yield through innovations and technology.

As small as Igboland may be, we can be able to produce 5x more food and other agricultural output than even Northern Nigeria. That's where technology and innovation comes in.
after you have finished the little land on useless bungalows.im into farming, poultry and piggry it's profitable, we should be wise in land utilisation, some villages in igboland are migrants in other villages because they don't have land again to build, even if u see to buy the prices alone is eh

Shut the fcuck up. Stop being selfish.
From Owerri West LGA HQtrs towards Avu to Obinze to Ezi Obodo, and Ofuruola and towards the boundary with Rivers state used to be all farmlands producing garri and other food crops in Nigeria. But those lands are being sold now for housing and expansion of Owerri towards Rivers state.
In Orlu side, the lands between Ogboko and Umuma Isiaku up towards Nkwerre, Orlu main town to Orsu and Ihiteowerri are not very much arable like the lands in Owerri area. These lands in Orlu side can be easily developed into another city or cities in that area of Imo state, not only IMSG enabling expansion for New Owerri, and other urban cities in Owerri side towards Rivers state.

You are not intelligent.

when you finish building houses everywhere what will you eat?
Agricultural is sustainable.
Responsible government need to map out specific local governments for agricultural and industrial purposes.
I know of Ohaji and Oguta, Okpala LGAS being agricultural zones but now it seems like our pple just want to build up everywhere with real estates forgetting that Imo is just 5.5k kq

Ndi Ikuola nkwu. Your former governor boss you supplied intelligence for 8 years has been living in far away Mbieri in Mbaitoli local govt area near Owerri; since he left office, while his Ogboko hometown in Ideato south is being ravaged by floods - everywhere looks abandoned in Ogboko. Not even road exists now to travel to his hometown. Where is your intelligence?

The problem with unintelligent people is that they are usually poor and insincere. I supported Okorocha because he actually did what I expect every Nigerian leader to do with his own expected mistakes but I'm too big to be bossed by anyone . I was already a millionaire in Dollar in my 20s when I joined Nairaland which is equivalent of 1 billion Naira today so what can any politician offer me not to say my truth? There is no land for too much estates in Orlu. Maybe you should have said Ngor-Okpala, Ohaji-Egbema and Oguta but then we still need those lands for agriculture. It is not an advantage if the entire State gets built up.

Now look at this map and tell me why you want that little erosion preserved strips to be built up when it's almost about the only empty lands left.
