And the card was wrapped in transparent nylon.
The era of almighty Nokia 3310, Sagem, Trium, Alcatel, Nec, open and close GSM phones.

Those years when Sim Card comes in a big pack with a voluminous manual and usually costs more than most handsets.

That period in time just a few million Nigerians could afford a GSM /Handset and maybe fewer could afford a sim card. Many people use to carry around dummy or spoiled phones to claim big boy.

You see people buy phones and then wait months to save up and buy a sim.

N200 then maybe worth N8,000 now or more.
I bought Nokia 3310 and waited for another 3 months to save enough to buy sim card which was then around 25k

When freaking MTN & Airtel where selling 10-20mb for 2000 naira.

Freaking thieves, remembering those days made me have no regrets on terabytes of data that we siphon through free browsing loopholes & sims.

Good old days 😌 😌😌😌

All in One Card. It still exists in MTN offices.

Back them the voice prompt you get when you have low balance was "Your account balance is low Please Recharge All-in-One-Card"

Omo, this card fooled me back then,
I was used to seeing people holding pre- paid phone cards, NITEL, Hallo- Hallo etc, that they have to insert into the phone boxes to make calls, so when GSM came and those Nokia 3310 and Samsung R220 were en vogue, I didn't have any, so when I walk along the road and see these recharge cards, I pick them up and imagine how they managed to slot it in

All the bank apps can't be down at the same time. There are other online platforms that I also use. They all can't be down at the same time.
