Who told you they are difficult to identify? They are everywhere surrounding millions of Nigerians who are the popular Men of God. Nigerians worship them. Just Open your Bible to Deuteronomy 18 Vs 20 to 22. That is an expo provided by Almighty God himself to easily identify them. He also mentioned that they should be killed by the Israelites telling you that punishment awaits these ones we have today who are using God to lie to gullible people.

If you also read the book of Jeremiah, Almighty God showed his disgust for False prophets. Just go to your Bible app, type False prophets or prophecies in the search bar. You will see several warnings filled with anger from God against False prophets.

If what you know your pastor or prophet for is that he gives you money or scholarship or food etc, Run for your life.
Doing good and giving this and that is a good thing but it is not what a pastor should be primarily known for. All that are done in secret and without too much noise.
What a pastor should be known for is that he or she is seeking , hunting and leading souls to JESUS CHRIST.

Any pastor or prophet who is more interested in getting the praise and hailing of men is a suspect. Run for your life.

If you are living in sin and your pastor or prophet is busy prophesing to you on how GOD will bless you without telling you on the need to repent from your evil, Run for your life. Prophecy without Genuie salvation is Gymnastics.

If you are in a place where the man of God is more Exalted than the GOD of the man and the man of God does nothing about it, Run for your life.
