Good decision.

Because the first half is boring af 😂
u guys should just calm down, goals ar coming in second half we just need to tweak the formation a little bit, currently chukwueze is not playing to the coach instructions, that will be corrected in the second period of the game

Which zaidu,

2nd half
Remove zaidu and put Bruno
Remove Chukwueze and put seniorman

Iwobi should move to play the right wing
Seniorman should play behind oshimen

No shoot on target yet

ZiktotheWorld:
Our best players so far are
1. Nwabali
2. Zaidu
3. Lookman
4. Ekong

in that order

All ball to Osimhen cannot help super Eagles at this moment.

God bless you for sharing this link. I was finally able to see a game in this tournament.

The boys aren't doing badly. They just need a bit more cohesion and link-up play in the opposition half.
Great! Here's even a better one: https://www.topsporter.net/headlines/bundesliga/?ref=total

Something is wrong with you. Which Zaidu is among best players?
He just needs to be more clinical.
He has been consistent so far on that Left Side of the pitch..
How do you watch your own football?

See how ball is flying in the sky like volleyball ball match. If DR congo handle Nigeria with this sky ball matters, we can chop nothing less than 7 goals

I don't think Super Eagles are playing too badly or maybe I am already used to the mediocre football at man united

All passes mustn't get to Osimhen, they need to build from the back to the midfield. But the players to do that are really lacking in the field
Re: Ivory Coast. Vs Nigeria: AFCON 2023: 0 - 1 On 18th January 2024 by Adakintroy: 6:57pm On Jan 18, 2024
The first game was better than this.

The midfield lack coordination. This player can't even put two three pass together. Just aimlessly loading ball up front to no one.

Why play 2 left backs. Open game up less play football. We are eagles damnit.

Everytime I wonder what the guy is playing.
On a good day, that guy is not worthy of playing in the National team.

Nigeria doesn't look like a team that will win. No ball sense. This is what you get when all these players turn themselves to celebrity dey bleep all these asawo.
Do we even have a team? These boys aren't really playing as a compact unit.

ogawisdom:
The coach should change osimen by 60 mins

We need to give a good account of our chances.

We need to try other strikers, osihmen is not giving a good account of our chances. Hit target let goal keeper save it first
I see your frustration but definitely that is not a good decision, the coach needs to see how we can stamp our authority in the middle of the park, the boys are doing well in the present circumstance because Ivory coast seem to have very strong good players in the middle of the park, if we can somehow turn around the dominance in the middle in our favor, we stand a good chance of beating them

Is it just me or African football is really poor with wrong passes, positioning and shooting.

I mean that situation with chukwueze and lookman is routine situation that demands a simple pass in most Euro leagues.

How can Chukwueze overhit that pass?

It's Half time:
- It's best Ihenacho comes in now.
- Iwobi of old , playing attacking midfield could have scored for Nigeria by now.
- Putting all our hopes of scoring on Osimhen, is not good.
- The rest of the attack needs to be more creative.
- Goalkeeping and defence has been decent so far apart from some errors and inaccurate passes.
- As usual, team cohesion is lacking in the Nigeria team

we're playing 5-3-3. Zaidu is weak during attack, he should drop & cover iwobi during a run.

This Sanusi is messing up at the back, he is shaky
Angelfrost:
It doesn't affect him in Italy...! I wonder what his problem is in this tournament.

Ivory Coast goal (or goals) will more than likely come from these set pieces... Goalkeeper and defenders need to sit up.
