I think that promiscuity is what even led to the dissolution of her marriage. The ritualistic must have been wooing her with huge amount of money and she started misbehaving.

She perhaps wanted her freedom from marital responsibilities of being a wife and a mother, she perhaps to be free to enjoy her life with any kind of man that pleases her, perhaps she became too bored with her ex-husband and elected to end the marriage and go out to free style and rekindle her fun. She however never knew that she just took away the only thing that secured her from dying such kind of shameful death. A lot of women get bored in marriage and want to explore, little did they know that leaving the marriage will lead to their ultimate death. It is a regular occurrence.
