There are some statements i do read online, and i wonder and ask my self where is the empathy, most of these careless statements are made by women. Too many careless statements, and high standards that are even funded by someone else. That you have a dad that can afford a private school doesn't mean you should look down on people attending public schools. Why all these standards, that you can't even afford by yourself. BOSSkesh:Here is one of the reasons why it's difficult to develop as a people. We always look for ways not to hold ourselves/families/loved-ones/tribes-men/leaders (political & spiritual) accountable. You could do literarily anything and an African will come up with an excuse to explain away what you did but will never hold you accountable. Have you wondered if so many people who perhaps also "had life happen to them" lost the courage to ask for the kind of help she's now soliciting for or even the number of people who choose not to help someone with a similar need based solely on the strength of her ill-advised post? You see, it's OK to overlook people's misdemeanours but we need to ensure that these people fully understand the implications of their actions whenever they are caught or in this particular case, when they do the same things they castigated people for. If we don't, they won't learn and we will have a generation of insensitive and entitled individuals roaming our streets. DONFRANSKID:most people who talk and talk and give advise and act certain way do so be side they are still under the shelters of their parents and survive with allowance given to them by their parents. She felt her life is secured because she has parents who will always be there to spoon feed . Now her father have issues with his job and her eyes have open. Remind me of a guy in my neighborhood, who think we are all some sort of never do well or lazy people. Many times this people are so short sighted that they fail to see how fragile their situation is, expecially when what they are banking on is an average government engagement of their parents . I don't see any hypocrisy in what she said. Probably she had a bad experience in crowdfunding and she's finding it difficult to pay back whatever funds she got. In fact I see this as more of advice than hypocrisy |
