You and others blaming the president and Wike for this wickedness should by now know that what is happening in Abuja is by design. You see, we are compatriots with a group of peoples who do not really value the sanctity of human lives and who believe in the maxim of "the end justifying the means". For them, anything to achieve political dominance and all the paraphernalia attached to it( military, territory and economic power), any means necessary, is justified as long as the agenda is achieved. These mindlessly wicked elites have taken the game of human chess far beyond humanity; no compunction, no pity for anyone except themselves and political agenda. Being a pawn in the hands of these ones means death and destruction. Their MO is insecurity; making the polity ungovernable. It's either the rest of the country bend to their will/agenda or there will be continous, unrelenting, mindless and satanic bloodshed. Do you think it was a mistake that entities like BH, ISWAP, bandits and herdsmen are in place today?

See, the target is the president and Wike. It's a ploy to disgrace the president and the fct minister. First off, they are extremely upset that a Southern bloke is fct Minister. It's a travesty, a slap on their faces that they will never forgive. The president did them "Maradona" in his appointments and other things. They have seen the handwriting on the wall but they won't go down without a fight.

They first organized and sponsored protests. When they saw that it wasn't effective, they activated plan B. All those mindless thugs kidnapping people with reckless abandon and outlandish audacity are acting under instructions, and until the presidency decide to destroy their sponsors, it's going to get worse. They're just testing the waters for now.

Why can't we own up to our responsibility and stop shifting blame?

We have formed the habit of blaming some imaginary saboteurs, unscrupulous elements, cabals, enemies, etc. for our obvious incompetence.

I wish you guys had said this during Jonathan's tenure instead of blaming him for everything.

The president is in charge of all the armed forces, police and every other security agencies. He has access to top-class talent from every country and he can hire people needed to fix this security issue. Jonathan did it towards the end of his tenure and Boko Haram was nearly decimated. The question now is, why has APC chosen not to take the steps necessary to sort out these security issues?
And why has people like you chosen to shift the blame to the masses instead of to the people who were (s)elected to do this job?

Don't try to be hypocritical. As I said earlier, if the president and his people aren't ready to do their job they should give way for competent people to take over

I refer to them as imaginary because a serious government should be able to clamp down on anyone causing this insecurity, no matter how highly placed.
