Hi house,
I discovered something and have seen it in nearly like everywhere make I no exaggerate .

Most parents that gave birth it's normal to cater for them from child till adult now let me assume they grow up as an adult then get a job and leave the house for d parents ..

These children forget the parents all because they struggle on their own to feed again and this so called parent have worked all their lives to send this child to school untill adult now that the parents are aging too they are still working working and working ..

Those this simply means giving birth to a child doesn't guarantee rest at old age?

Op you have answered the question yourself.

Giving birth doesn't guarantee rest at old age UNLESS the parents are lucky.

Giving birth does not Guarantee anything but it keeps hope alive and far better than one without a child.

Secondly,there is a saying in my place that says," one doesn’t brag with children because no one knows tomorrow.

Even if you are not ur parents retirement, take it that it's only foolish children that finds it tough to take care of their poor parents at old age.

As an African, there is no excuse too heavy to watch
your parents suffer at old age.

some child is d source of parents problem .
Some child make d parent to labour for wahala till old age and death.

Some parents blames themselves for giving birth.

You must not procreate if you are from a poor home in nigeria until you become financially successful.

Else your generations will keep wallowing in abject poverty.
