Zambia and Tanzania will bring the curtain down on Matchday 2 in Group F on Sunday, with both sides seeking their first win of the tournament. In fact, Tanzania are still looking for their first win in AFCON history, losing six and drawing one of the seven games they’ve played in the competition. Adel Amrouche’s side have shipped 3+ goals in four of these seven games, including a 3-0 defeat to Morocco on MD 1.

In truth, it was always going to be difficult for Tanzania to threaten the Atlas Lions, but it was alarming just how toothless they were going forwards. The Taifa Stars managed just two touches in Morocco’s box, their lowest tally in an Africa Cup of Nations game, while only Namibia (1) against Morocco in 2019, and Zimbabwe (1 against Guinea in 2022) have had fewer on record.

Which countries are playing? Zambia vs Tanzania? More or less like Northern Ireland vs Lithuania. U can't expect much crowd

So because of nations cup people shouldn't go to work again ?
Haven't you noticed the stadium is always filled up in the night?
No matter what team is playing because that's when people have time to go watch football.
Moreover like Europeans that get welfare packages from their government , here if u no work u no go chop nothing is free .

it's an East African vs Southern African match, they surely couldn't have brought much supporters to ivory Coast.
See when west African countries (and even north Africans) are playing and see how full the stadium is because those ones' supporters can travel by road to ivory Coast.
Unlike Europeans that dont have work and all tickets are sold before the competition. Even in league u have people that buy whole season ticket and be following their clubs up and down as if they are paid to do that.
Africa that people are barely struggling to eat, it's to buy expensive tickets and take holiday and book flight and accommodation u say they should come and do.
Ivory Coast had to declare public holiday for their citizens to go and watch their match against Nigeria, when oyibo doesnt even declare public holiday for national elections - u go to work, come back and go and vote, no free food for anybody.

Stadium is nearly empty.. African countries can't fill up 20k capacity stadium.. Safe to say that Zambia are already out this tournament if they lose this game coz no way they're beating Maroc..
