forex hard especially for those with small capital.

The high volume market makers in CFD markets have zones of interest for either Sells or Buys, not exact price lines of interest; otherwise, the market would be valueless as institutional investors and retail traders, would place entries at the same price line and no one would want to take the opposite trend direction.

A zone of interest can be breached without the market makers being involved; this is why you might have a sniper entry, but your expected minimal take profit is not reached; no liquidity to drive the trend.

When the market makers want to create and sustain a trend, they use the same zones; however, their order placements in the market create candle patterns within or around that zone.

This pattern repeats again and again from time to time, and is the actual edge in trading. Not the how which we can all see, but the what and when?

But when it trends on the move, everyone jolly and in merriment mood.

The explanations might be uncoordinated but I will try and put stuffs down sha.
Most unprofitable traders failed to acquire the knowledge require to excel.
We/they are greedy.
And the moment you trade with no knowledge, with greedy mindset. You are no longer trading but gambling.

So how can we blame the market, brokers, the big boyz for our gambling practices that we called trading?

Most of us make it hard by trying to trade many pairs at once with heavy lots hence messing up with our psychology when in reds. We wanted to make 1000% in a month claiming that we need money bla bla. I remember when we used to cry of capital. Now we have prop firms, folks are still losing.
The market is supposed to be getting easier everyday as we have more data to help our analysis but instead we continue to complicate things for ourselves.

Simply put, The chart is our friend.
How many of us make it our friend?
No b strong head You and I dey do with the market ni.
Plotting beautiful arrows with no knowledge of how to draw it and trying to buy or sell towards the arrows.

And we expect the market to be easy?

We have some brokers that kind of play games but we have the ability to go with above average brokers. Those are not reasons for our failure.
We are our own problem. We need to look inward instead of pointing fingers. We need to work on our patience and discipline.

Stop hunting is crazy. The thing don show me shege since last week.

Now, my new policy is not to look for setups but to wait till stop hunts are cleared.

If that doesn't happen, I no dey enter anything.

Any time you are in a trade and you feel the urgency to pray to whatever deity you worship, simply agree that you messed up

For those of us coming from the programming world, forex is like a blessing in disguise. Imagine planning to learn programming for 2years minimum without expectations of making one naira during that duration because we know the money will come after the knowledge. Even the money is in form of seeking employment where you can be sacked every now and then. No true freedom really, just employability sake.

As a programmer, our plan was to get a freelance job of just $1k at least per month and we would be fine. Imagine someone that's got the patience to learn something for 2years without plans of making money during the learning phase, and his expectations was even to make around $1k per month. Coming into forex with same mindset, tell me why he won't succeed?


To the people just coming in, there's too much money in FX for it to be easy for everyone. If you've been in this for years and still unprofitable, it's time you re-strategized. Whatever you've been doing is not working, tear it all down and start again. This time it will be easier as you've gained so much insights all these years.
By now you should know your best trading style, be it Scapling, Day-trading or Swinging.
Follow only those that trade like your intended method judiciously until it becomes second nature to you. It may take time, but it's definitely gonna worth it.

The plan is to become a trader, a profitable trader and not a chart architect.
