Most of the big and the so called successful lawyers today make their money from politicians and governments , especially those ones representing politicians at election tribunals. Some even helped indicted politicians to scuttle their prosecution for corruption in courts.while some are the go between in bribing judges for favourable judgments at the tribunals. The 30m dollars Afe claimed he received from government most likely happened during Obj presidency, he was Obj's lawyer and friend. And he got the brief because of his friendship with Obj. Apart from politicians themselves, the sector that benefits from this democracy most are the lawyers, some even help corrupt governors and other public office holders to launder money in the name of being "paid for representing the state in litigations". No one should form a saint here, they all make their money from the corrupt system.

NOTE; They won't tell you about the lobbying aspect of those cases... It will be laughable to think that most of those top notch cases are factored on legal intelligence and authorities only, most especially in Nigeria. What made the lawyer who charged N500k lost may have been relying on his legal fees alone... What made him win may have been brining in the business aspect of the law profession. There are business and corporate cases you can't win by charging your legal fees alone in Nigeria Law and Litigation System. There must be other fees as well like; Administrative Fees, Logistics Fees, Chambers Fees, Go-To-Court Fees, Oga-at-the-Top Fees etc. etc...

This is real life. He won't tell you about the cases he lost. You can't always be a winner, there will be some times you did not win.

Its those times you did not win that will shape your knowledge and growth. I am more interested in learning about the cases he lost and how he was able to garn a chain of very strong friends. That's where the actual secret is.
record your success

The same state that was ruined by Fayose, Fayemi and other governors since 1999? A state that has failed to provide water for every building and free education to all children, despite Ajasin’s achievements in four years in these areas of government services and utilities?

So what is the purpose of Afe Babalola, Wole Olanipekun’s knowledge if they are from a backward state like the remaining 35 states

The Bigger your charges the bigger the bribe for Judges the more compromising to overturn judgment to favor your client.

A Real born again lawyer is very scarce. Telling lies and bribery is part of the profession.
