This is where you get it all wrong. Nobody told anyone anything. These ethnicities, out of their own making opted to identify as is, not by coercion or cajoling.

Leave the talk about unity in numbers, and focus on respect. It is disrespectful to continue to call ethnicities by the name they do not wish to be identified with.

What desperation is there in saying that someone who has Igbo surname, and possibly, other names, is an Igbo? Develop more sense.

I take an exception to your useless comment. Lagos has nothing on PH. Do not brag with the lopsided federal system that Nigeria practices that has unnecessarily favored Lagos ahead of Rivers state.

There are no natural resources in Lagos with which the massive infrastructures were built with, but primarily with resources from Niger Delta of which Rivers state contributed.

You have seaports in Lagos, we have in Rivers.
You have airports, we have in Rivers.
Lagos is the western Railway terminal hq, Rivers is eastern railway terminal hq.
Rivers has an abundance of Oil&Gas, lagos is paper oil&Gas.

It is actually you Igbos that are turning people against you if at all.

If you respect people, you will be respected.
If you love people, you will attract love.

You Igbos will demonise, disparage, disrespect others and even insult their intelligence and expect them to be attracted to you. Of the three bigger ethnic groups, you are the only people that go about rewriting peoples history and posting all over the internet, forcing identity on people, insult and even sometimes issue some form of stvpid threats when they don’t agree with you.

What you give is what you get. Live and let others live. You are in no position to tell people who they are. No tribe has a right to claim any tribe. If you feel you have plans that can only work when others are involved, you communicate with them respectfully, and seek their support. Who is dragging who to be igbo,? Some of you unfortunately don't even no that South Eastern Nigeria is made up of igboid people just like we have in some part of South south. If you say south Eastern people are igbos ... what qualifies them to be igbo. Eg i understand etche dialects more than ikwo dialects in Ebonyi State. But according to some of you ikwo people are igbos while etche people are not. So what actually disqualifies etche people from being igbo.
