...D people that struggled to build d houses are also in d same economy but they made a difference through hard work and dedication. The thieves should also shun laziness and find something to do with there lives rather than blaming d economy and waiting to be spoon fed by d government.

Burglars are usually area boys or those uneducated jobless boys in the neighbourhood. You need to do one of the following to scare them aways :

1. Get a good Dog or two to monitor your compound while away.

2. Install a cctv and let everyone know you did. They usually have informants who are almost insiders, so the person will warn them not to near your house.

3. Always let someone remain at home to play a music or be watching TV. They rarely attack home they knew the occupants are inside because they know he/she may shout or call the attention of other neighbours through phone call.

4. With the help of other landlords or genuine people, fish out and chase away all area boys and riff raff from your community.

5. You can identify and call their ring leader or leaders of area boys in your community to a meeting. During this gathering, narrate the incident to them and warn them the police have been consulted to kill anyone suspected to involve in such a crime. Assure them that there will be big rewards (flash a bundle of 100k) for anyone who link or provide information leading to arrest of these gangs. You will be surprise how fast the innocent ones among them will fish them out.

Once these gangs or Area boys are out, your community will experience peace for a very long time.
How about making the economy and the society lucrative? It's governments fault, over the years this thieves has continued to mess Nigeria up. You talk about area boys bcoz it's unsecured neighborhood, have you been to good developed area where politicians with their stolen money stay? You can bugle in those areas bcoz they only protect themselves

The profitability of any skill is dependent on several factors. Generally, the tech space is getting more crowded and becoming more competitive, but if you can stand out from the crowd and find good opportunities, then you will make money.
Mind you, no one learns just Python alone, depending on what exactly you want to do, you will need to learn other tools and technologies as well.

Prior to election when Tilumbu was selected as the apc presidential aspirant those who supported him did so because of one or more of the followings;

Tribalism,

Religion affiliation,

They believed he is a technocrat,

They were deceived that he single handedly built Lagos,

They believed he is so rich and he can easily use his own money to build Nigeria so he doesn't actually need Nigeria money.

They actually wanted to spite other tribes especially the Igbos so it is a thing of joy to show the nyamiris how to play politics 101.

Unfortunately non among the things they believed has ever come to their advantage, but knowing fully well how they are I am sure they will still vote their lovely savior come next election since they prefer to die of hunger rather than see anything good come from other tribe.

Those in that categories usually apply number 4 and 5 strategies. Burglars don't just operate where one of them don't live, if you check very well, you will disciver that one or some of them are living in that area, so once thay are fish out and chase away, you will never hear such in that community again.

The thieves got bold because they have the full support of the corrupt police station who keeps freeing them and making the community more vulnerable. The members of the community might resort to jungle justice since the justice system has clearly failed them. That police station needs to be reported, it's obvious they're protecting the interest of the thieves instead of the community.

I intentionally ommited that because Nairaland kids are too quick to call you Tinubu supporter whenever you tell them the truths.

Nigeria under this government is affecting everyone even the rich, but I can categorically tell you that burglar has been in existence since time immemorial. Burglar is usually a trend in a particular community that die down once the source are fish out and eliminated. This act are usually carried out by area boys and illiterate lazy youth in a community. These burglars are lazy youths that refused to work but want to live large, it has little or nothing to do with Economy.

I have withness so many instance even in 90"s , 2000's , etc before now, will you also say Economy effected them then? These guys are thieves by default, they prefer to sleep all day than go to work, even when you promise them good pay. Like I said before, it is trend in that community, and once the people are able to fish them out, the incident will stop immediately.

Why are some people politicizing this issue? Voting for Peter obi doesn't mean everywhere would be peaceful. Infact, the moment he comes in, terrorism and banditry levels would hit the roofs cos there are people who would want to make his regime horrible just as they did to Jonathan. Lots of hardened criminals from various parts of Lagos relocated to the inner parts of ikorodu and honestly I fear for the residents. Anytime I go there, I am really apprehensive cos I still remember that Badoo stuff. The security of Ikorodu needs tightening. Another ritualist group might rise soon or groups of armed robbers
