That some kingdoms have had supreme rulers. The Alaafin was a supreme ruler in his kingdom. The Oba of Benin was supreme in his own kingdom. Same for many other kingdoms.

In 1932, the two kingdoms were unified as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Hence 1932 was its inception. They've had maybe 6-7 Kings since then, who have all being from the house of Saud.
