As at 2021 it was reduced to just 0.6%.

We claim to be practicing Democracy in Nigeria but the country gets worse and worse every day. Every 4 to 8 years, we get people and their caucus who seek to eat their share of the cake before they are kicked out in the next 4-8 years. During Jonathan, we had Dasukigate, during Buhari, we had Umar Farouq. Just today, EFCC is reported to be investigating someone for a whooping $6BN stolen funds.

Thank God someone is earning in USD, so a bit protected from inflation. In the past 30 days, I have exchanged USD five times. Rate was 1187 by 29th December and I exchanged again yesterday for 1400 per USD. Today, it's 1440.
I can't believe that at this time last year, I exchanged at 744

I won't mind a Putin or Xi Jinping ruling for 30 years if they can improve the country. The poverty rate in Democracy-practising Nigeria is alarming.

Funny thing, is that the news is not even on media front page but if it’s Russia or China, the matter is going on now, you think bombs are already flying with the way, they will be making noises about it.

The US is the UN. They are not defunding it. It's the UNRWA they're referring to. UNRWA means The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. It's a group under the UN.

The goal here is to stain the reputation of the UNRWA and deny the genocide. Is it a surprise that this is coming after ICJ's ruling on Israel? Israel has called the ICJ's ruling anti-semitic. US has threatened to cancel trade deals with South Africa for taking the case to ICJ. And now, US and Israel wants to stain UNRWA by diverting attention and claiming their employees work for Hamas.
