The way Nigeria is eh, if you like get PhD in Economics, even if the CBN's office is in your village or opposite your compound if you are not a family member or a family friend of one of the top politicians at the Federal level or a family members of top management staff of CBN forget it unless you are supernaturally lucky though.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket

1. Apply to CBN if you like to work at CBN

2. Apply to other multinationals esp in the financial services (PwC, KPMG, Delloite, Ernst& Young, etc). Check grad schemes of telecomms, oil services, oil & gas, banks, etc

3. Consider further education abroad. You may get some scholarships in Canada, Germany, UK, US, Australia, etc

4. Consider professional development - ICAN, ACCA, MBA, etc

5. Also don't forget you can be an entrepreneur
