If the order was placed on November 27th (about 2 months ago) ,then the item is still withing buyer's protection period. What this means is that you can only open dispute at the end of the 'period', which is usually 65days, counting from the day the order was placed, and your refund is sure if it's confirmed that the item didn't get to you.

The delay is nothing but logistics 'palava' occasionally experienced on items passing through "Transit country".

Interestingly, I ordered the Anker Soundcore Motion Boom during the 11.11 sales and it was delivered in less than 3 weeks....

Ensure to ask about refund policy should in case AliExpress wants to make refund in times of disputes.

Its not just about making payments,

It's about your payments been secured to the end until you receive your items.

Someone is complaining bitterly to me in my dm on how a checkout person advertised at cheaper rate on this thread,but to get refund after opening a dispute is a mess.

I won't want to go into details of how most people achieve cheap checkout,but I can confirm most of them are though fraudulent means and stolen credit cards.

I paid Noobody to help place an order for 2 items, he never did and kept my funds for 1week. I had to chat him up to get the tracking number, then he came up with a lie that he is automatically getting refunded for an order that wasn’t placed cos I had to chat up the seller. He refunded my money but the dollar is not the same as I purchased when it was 1310 now it is over 1,400 and the item is no longer in stock until after one week. A very regrettable experience and there was no remorse from his response “It’s not hard na, send new link, rate is 1420 and I would help you make the payment”

This is what we call price discovery…the process of finding the true value of the Naira. Unfortunately we have been living a false life for decades, with fuel subsidy, reduced oil production and defending the Naira at a propped up level with the few forex reserves we had. Our women spend $750m a year on imported artificial hair, how much forex do we get in a year that we spent $750m importing hair? What is so special about fake hair that we cannot manufacture it here? We export nothing besides oil and that oil production has declined.

That is the problem! Human hair is symbolic of the problem. We consume too many imported goods and we produce vey little for export.

The Naira will continue to fall until it gets to a point where the demand for forex matches the supply of forex. Since the supply is limited, the only thing that can halt the decline is for the dollar to become too prohibitive, causing demand destruction. Alternatively, we increase the supply and right now the only way that can happen is to increase oil production…very unlikely in the short term.
