This thing is getting out of hand. Majority of those that JAPA do that because of insecurity not for greener pastures.

Me like this go begin plan my JAPA. Just buy car of $20k and watch as kidnappers go begin track you.

Build small house for you and your family, just a week after you move in, kidnappers go begin trace you.

All these is as a result of bad Government. Soon na only politician and their tribesmen will be left in this country. angry
Buy car of $20k? shocked shocked

It is high time we all joined hands with the security agencies to fight this menace by all means possible. Going entirely spiritual and metaphysical should be considered.

The traditional rulers should recognise this as a declaration of war and respond accordingly. Let them put heads together and bring things out.

This has gone beyond praying in mosques and churches. It has gone beyond sending police and soldiers after them. An army of very powerful witches and wizards should be raised and the battle should be taken to the miscreants in the bush.

They have opened shop and I don’t see them closing it anytime soon. If we don’t want to continue to live in perpetual fear we all must do away with our differences be it ethnic or religious and work together to put an end to this madness.

Your first line is ridiculous sir. Kidnapping is not a complex crime that a country like Nigeria can’t fight with a snap of her finger.
I need to tell you this for free, we have what it takes to clean them all. But the idiots leading us has compromised and definitely getting paid from this or had got into shady deals in exchange for power at some points.

This is why they are obviously complicit and doing nadda. Unreported kidnapping now happens virtually everyday in Nigeria now. Like it’s a norm.

How do you think DSS and EFCC tracks anyone whether within Nigeria or outside for investigation?

With your SIM card not connected to your device you can be tracked to anywhere in the world if the security really wants to get you.

These kidnappers even make calls. Lol. Like they make active calls on active cell phones and you’re telling me we should join hands with who exactly?

What else does the security outfit needs to capture them ? That’s the question?

It’s a big shame that the corruption has now gotten to trading lives of the people for power before it used to be limited to public resources. What a shame

I’m only working on getting myself out of this country as fast as possible. I can’t allow some clueless uneducated useless idiots leading the country to waste my life on mediocrity infused policies and rulership.

The police find it easy , tracking a lost phone . Last one I heard was from ibadan to Lagos. Just right in my neighborhood. Why is the kidnappers' case different ? Is there something the security operatives are not telling us ??

Is there any way payment of ransom .can be stopped? The only way to discourage kidnapping venture is to put a total end to ransom payment.Simple technology can put a stop to this because kidnappers are after money and it's possible to embed an invisible bugging device on naira notes they take as ransom for ease of tracking.

I was hoping to see the description of the kidnappers but to no avail.
Is it an act of cowardness or cover up going on in that zone. Last yr people where murdered inside the church and uptill now no one could muster courage to describe the perpetrators. The media and political leaders are destroying this nation.

If they continue paying ransoms, kidnapping will become a national thing.

Solving kidnapping case is the simplest of all crimes. There are tons of ways to track them, there's even a track-able money.

Nigeria security system is compromised, there won't be a single successful kidnapping if some of these security personnel aren't compromised.

If I'm ever to rule, there will be no prison for some criminals... Instant execution using the worse form of torture known to mankind.

Very simple... The whole system is in shamble... Weather they like it or not.. Someone with security details have an idea about the kidnapping..

Our security operatives re criminals...

Please note that you cannot kidnap anyone anywhere in the world successfully without the government finding you out considering that every phone location can be spotted by the telco.

The reason for these kidnapping is because the power that is looking away.

The kidnappers clearly know these kids and their teachers can't pay such amount.

Meaning... They are actually demanding for a crowdfund from wealthy idiots like Pantami, or that the Ekiti government ransoms the victims themselves.

This is a whole new level of brazenness.

This is not the time to be politically split in the country. I pray the military smokes the adductors out and makes them suffer. I pray insecurity stops all over the country and those who are behind the actions are brought to book!

Was the military able to explain how Terrorists are able to pass through their barriers or escape from their custody, why di they execute policemen who arrested a well-known and confirmed Terrorist? DOn't believe the media. This is now a business model with the Military and security forces and government officials involved

I agree with you 100 percent. That is the reason why I hinted that we should come together and tackle the situation ourselves by any mean possible. We should assume the so called security agents do not exist.

This comment is very childish. Don’t people get kidnapped where Peter Obi won massively? This is a very serious matter that requires all of us to put heads together and solve irrespective of our differences be it political, religious or tribal.

You don’t still get sir. You can’t fight armed bandits as a civilian. No matter how fearless a bird is , it shall always remain food for the cat.

Arms and ammunitions are in the exclusive list for a reason. It’s the most complex and most heavily regulated matter.

You can’t possibly fight using a gun now, if the security catches you , you’re probably going to rot in jail.

The unique freedom with which the bandits operate in Nigeria shows it can never be without the permission of the leaders.

Nigeria is a sovereign nation. The President is saddled with the responsibility to protect it against all external aggressions , and what we experience presently is a classic example of external aggression.

It is not the duty of me and you at this stage. An attempt to do this - fighting bandits, is primitive and beyond our capabilities and ultimately will lead to genocide.

Forget all the black magic stuff and the religion fanatics prayers to God. They are all only potent in story books. In matters of AK 47 shells and other dangerous weapons amulets or prayers would do nothing. This is because the problem is a man made issue, the critical consequences of government decay.

Hope you read how the kings, the ones Yorubas reference as “second in command to the gods,” were kidnapped easily like the way kids harvest snails.

No other way than individual escape plans at this stage. And the only way to survive is to just leave the country.

Seriously working on this at the moment. Not gonna lie to you.

A time would come in Nigeria that traveling to neighboring African states would be impossible. It’s just a matter of time.

How will they have conscience when people do crowdfunding to pay them? People pay them in cash, and security personnel can't fish them out.. How will they have conscience when the country has now become hell, and only those with ill gotten money are celebrated. If care is not taken,it will get worse. Because these criminals are seeing the weakness of the Nigerian security system and of course the stupidity of our leaders.. They are only good at witch hunting and stealing public funds..
Pray not to be in the shoe of the relatives of the kidnapped victims...you would understand the pains they go through knowing the system won't help out.

Some Ndigbo's inability to engage brain before typing wíll ensure Peter Obi never becomes President of Nigeria.

It is not as if àlá igbó itself that overwhelming voted for Peter Obi doesn't have security challenges too.

After you will be running upandan saying they should leave Peter Obi alone.

Children are kidnapped and you are relating it to voting patterns, hopefully when you start facing challenges in future, you will remember this post and be remorseful.

In 3 years time you wil be surirised even less Ndi Yoruba are voting for Peter Obi and wonder why.
