People pretending they don't know that black on black racism is 100 times worse than the racism of whites towards blacks. Blacks in African countries like South Africa and Seychelles hate fellow black Africans more than they hate the devil.

The Western counties will not allow that never.
Just look at the Eco currency they are proposing how many years now .
Yeah, as usual, blame the west for your failure.
Even inside Nigeria, we have people who are opposed to free movement
and they are not the west.

Correct my brother. This is why I don't understand why all these small useless countries don't see this. All they see is their xenophobia and discrimination against fellow Africans. Useless people. Africa has a lot of potential as one big country with one military, one currency and one passport.

See the hate I was talking about from you South Africans. Why hate your fellow Africans? Did you create those borders or the white man did? Why are you useless to yourselves?

Nonsense.

1. The truth and reality =hate , jealousy& xenophobia to you people grin.
2. The so called fellow Africans must show us how to love and treat them by how they treat and love themselves in their own respective countries. You can't preach love when you're so full of hate yourselves. Hypocrites!
3. No , we didn't create the physical borders, but borders were always there in Africa. For instance, in South Africa we know where Zululand starts and ends. We know where land of Basotho ends with the borders with Xhosas etc. Those my friend are borders grin.

4. What we should be discussing is re-drawing of the borders by Africans themselves. For instance, South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and parts of Mozambique , Zim and Namibia could all form a country as we have a lot in common. No love for religion, speak same languages, practice same culture etc. What we are kicking against is the rubbish of being forced to be in the same country with people we have nothing in common with like Nigerians, Ethiopians , somalis etc. That's too much baggage. People are naturally very territorial and prefer their own cultures and religions to dominate, this is why ( almost )homogenous countries like Botswana are peaceful and countries like Nigeria are the opposite. Look at Europe, they are living peacefully ( almost) with each other because each group knows where they belong and respects the ways of the regions they visit......

I am talking about Schengen countries that have free mobility.
Russia is not part of schengen.
Everything boils down leadership. Check out all schengen countries, they try their best to be better and as such most of their citizens are ok with their country.
If you try free mobility in Africa presently, some countries basic amenities will be over stretched due to massive influx of Japa people escaping hard life.

You beat me to this, imagine those who left their home to rot, migrating enmass, to places that were developed through sweats and tears of the owners.
No I don't buy into such nonsense, let there be borders, this helps to stimulate developments.

You are right the border should be tightened. Most people who japa make money from supporting bad governance. To them it's just a job and no big deal. It can be seen here in nairaland and when they make good money from propaganda, they japa to developed countries with their families.

Yes, I support as a Nigerian. I as a Nigerian have never been to any other African country, cos I feel I have nothing in common with them, and see no reason going to their country to mingle with them. Heck, even in my country I have nothing in common with some ethnic groups.

Your thinking is really evil grin

1. I knew somehow Northern and southern Africa would be your target. We all know that those two parts of Africa would be flooded more than the other regions. We all know the so called "free movement " you're advocating for is actually mass migration , and the two mentioned regions would be the main victims.

2. No , we don't vote for the " genius " because he is actually a slowpoke. Why would countries who have less in common get rid of their borders to create an even bigger an unmanageable sh$thole? . Your United Stated of Africa would be a combination of Nigeria, Somalia and Ethiopia and we want no part of that. Civil wars , extreme poverty, lack of development, lack of democracy etc . No, thank you.

3. Most parts of Africa are very tribalistic and religious, which = hate, backwardness and under-development. Being borderless won't cure those but will spread the misery around. Every country should try getting rid of half their sicknesses*** before we can think about this, no?

4. Borders don't stop trade if truly that's what Africans want, but we all know most won't trade shyyt but will use this as an avenue to run away from their own self-created hells to go and cause trouble for others .

5. Europe still has sovereign nations, they knew very well that mixing Russians, Germans ,Brits etc together would cause never ending civil wars , hence they made sure each group runs their own affairs but most are united against any external threats which is what we should be discussing not this "one Africa " " one passport " rubbish. Disaster....disaster ....disaster grin.

African unification is in the AU Charter.

It’s a matter of when, not if.

LMFAO,blacks in those countries are the reason so many African countries are in civil war today ? grin. Somalis have been bombing and maiming each other for God knows how long because of black SA? grin. Ethiopia and Eritrea separated by fighting one of the most savage wars in history because of black SA? grin.

Just yesterday *** Ethiopians (without Eritreans )were fighting another war, I guess black people from the countries you blame were the reason for such
" disunity"? grin.

Igbos in Nigeria were thoroughly fckd in the 60s by other Nigerians to the point of their men begging for food from others to feed their dying kids; even today they have not healed from the massacre and other Nigerians still see them as others to the point of vowing never to vote for them as anything meaningful ** in Nigeria. I'm sure that is because of black SA as well grin.

You carry an id with a state of origin but your *smart brains* tell you others from far away are your problem ? grin Jesus!!!

Smart one, over 30 countries in Africa are in involved in one civil war or ethnic conflict of some sort , how is this nonsense caused by black SA?

Your country and region will continue to underperform as long as you're still looking at people who will never even imagine coming there in their numbers as your problem.

Exactly why I consider ECOWAS and AU useless.
You can't even send money amongst African countries with ease.

Nkrumah (Ghana), Nasser (Egypt), Ben Bella (Algeria), Keita (Mali), and a few others had radical intentions during the discussions that led to the formation of the OAU in 1963.

Do you want to take a wild guess on who the gradualists (fifth columnists) were? cool It was a group that went on to formed the Monrovian-pact, led by Liberia and Nigeria.

From the Americano-Liberians perspective, Ghana - which only gained its independence in 1957 - was an upstart trying to usurp power and privilege from Grandees (Liberia gained its independence in 1847?). From the Nigerian perspective - or rather from Tafawa Balewa's perspective - Nigeria had no truck with Pan-Africanism since we draw influences from the Arab-Islamic world too.

It is not for want of a vision that we remain in our partitioned silos today. It is for want of political will.

THE desire for a united Africa, just after the independence of some African countries in the 1950s, resulted in the formation of various groupings. The two dominant groups were the Casablanca Group and the Monrovia Group. The Casablanca Group was in favour of a politically united federation of African states immediately whereas the Monrovia Group wanted a looser alliance based on gradual economic cooperation. In the end, on 25 May 1963, in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital, 32 independent African countries brought into being the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), a compromised institution.

Nothing wrong with visiting different countries; it's actually very refreshing and makes one appreciate their own home ( ofcourse if the home was anything to write home about from the start grin). The issue here is people pretending to be tourists while actually running away from the place their sons , husbands , fathers and brothers turned into hell. I can understand and sympathise with female refugees and kids, never men!!!.

Any man who is not going for military training should never be allowed to run from their dysfunctional society and should be killed at the border. They're the ones running Africa to the ground and ruining their own homes with violence and anti-social behaviour, so where are they running off to? We need men in Africa not running sissies. grin

Yeah, I’ve only ever visited the west (United States), and that was for my grad studies, and then I visit once in a while to shop for a few things I need that I can’t get from my country. Anyways, I don’t think I’m the visiting type but might take up your suggestion one of these days.

Why is that it's so difficult to move around Africa, more than it is in other continents?. Look at Europe, they have no borders and are successful and living well. Why can't we do that too in Africa. Where you can eat breakfast in Morocco, eat lunch in Nigeria and supper in Cape town? . Why are we not united like this? Why dont African leaders get rid of the borders to turn the continent into a powerful success story ?. We have everything to succeed and do well.

It was free movement that turned Boko Haram and the Bandits into a big Problem

So that slave traders ( human traffickers) could pick up where their forefathers stopped and "Africa " would be blamed again instead of the region and country? grin you play too much. We are happy that slave traders, drug traffickers and illegal immigrants from Africa are known by their own identity without denting others. You want to bring down the group average with your your desparado tendencies? grin. No ways!!!. We are happy with our SA passport and identity. The 20 Countries in Africa with a Bantu speaking majority can honesty form one country easily as they are similar in language, culture, etc.

As you have said, countries like Nigeria, Somalia, Chad, Sudan etc are failed states, inhabited by animals rather than normal, civilised human beings. The only thing on their mind is "japa" to saner climates.

Do you close ur doors to your brothers?

Cuz that's d message. We see ourselves as brothers. remove harsh restrictions for ur fellow Africans who are coming to ur home town to exhibit their skills.

Every country issues a special skills permit and the skills they need are always publicised by their governments. If your type of *skills or hardwork * is not on the list, then don't go to that country to " hustle". They clearly don't need your kind around .

My own brothers call and check if they can visit. They knock when they get to my doorstep and don't use the window to get into my home . Manners and being dignified are not foreign concepts to us. We understand in your own culture, your own brother can even take the properties of your widowed wife and children and this is an abomination in our culture. That's why we should keep away from each other

There won't be any influx anywhere in Africa as the whole continent is useless . Even Malema sees this as some Africans are just self hating for not wanting unity by hiding behind influx and massive migration that won't happen.

Check very well where most migrants within Africa go to cheesy. West and Central Africa are usually the last options ( if they are even options for those outside of those regions) grin. So, you and Malema are stupid to even thik that if there were no restrictions that the regions that are flooded today would see less migration.
