I'm still trying to figure out what you mean by sacrifing chances.

But the fact is that he was Nigeria's ‘go to’ man, going into the tournament. And he has massively failed to leave up to the hype.
... so far.

Because he's not scoring plenty goals? That's not the only mark of a good player. How many goals did Sadio Mane score? You all just expect miracles from the young man

Angola played well in the first few minutes and missed a good opportunity to score, after that Nigeria just took over the game. Quite disappointing by Angola.

What if the bench isn't good enough

These boys attack n defend together. Those boys on the bench might not have such work rate
Nothing is wrong that bench.
Mofi who is faster would have been a better option to Paul at that stage of the game, lukman Osimhen and Simon were all exhausted, chukwueze, should have coming at 70 min, for lukman or Simon.

Wow shocked

This is one of the best matches I have seen Nigeria play in a very looong time.

Kudos to the coach for pairing lookman with oshimen in the attack. Lookman appears to be a false no 9 and he's doing the damage and easing the pressure on oshimen.

People were complaining Nigeria ain't playing well and that Angola would do us dirty.

I'm not disputing the fact that we ain't playing as required but I keep telling them that no matter how swift and tactical the team is Nigeria style of play will always slow them down.

See how we made Angola look ordinary. A whole 90+ minutes they weren't able to score a goal. I mean considering what we have seen them do to other teams.

Abeg give the eagles and the coach some accolades.

This Super Eagles defense is crazy.

You intercept Iwobi, you have Onyeka waiting. You manage to pass him, you meet Ajayi. Manage to skip him, you meet Ekong. You somehow manage to find your way pass him, there is the big bold Nwabali waiting..🤌

I love our players in this tournament for real.

We scored a second and it was overruled; like we did against Cameroon. That’s how good we are. However, we still find a way to triumph - that’s the naija spirit. Let the s/eagles 🦅 keep soaring.❤️

Most times, Nigeria always qualify to the Semi Final of Afcon, with or without Obi or Tinubu. It's the Semi Final that is the major problem but I think this time around we will scale through to the final.
