I used to have left over of food after session. 2010 to 2015 engineering Chai. Printing per page was #2.5 , indomie n egg plus cup of Lipton was #150, big note 100, local sardine was 80 naira, cartoon of indomie highest 1700, golden penny #100 other local ones I can't even remember their names was 50 to 80 naira. I still hate it then, prefer indomie, ai used to say it not as smooth as indomie then, but now ehh. Used to dash cleaners and almajiri after session closes. My registration was #18,000 then. I never paid any acceptance fee was later introduce. Hostel fee was between #7,300 to #9,300 per session. With guarantee light from 9 to 11 pm. Hmm honestly sending children to uni dey fear person now. Imagine school fees now is around 100,000 thousand naira. Indomie not with two egg is 650, golden penny now na around 600 or more. Photocopy per page 20 naira. How are students surviving now ? Three gbosa for wuna. With #5,000 per week then I do still have some changes left.

It's very sad.. people that make an honest living are seriously suffering the bald economic situation. Even transporting yourself to work is another work on its own.. imagine ignoring calls to hangout cos of cost of fueling the ride, thank heavens my parents are doing very fine if not, another burden.. infact, naija is a burden on us right now

Naija is made up of d people.

And the people are visionless and cowards, so they are the burden to themselves.

If everywhere soft small, them for don buy fuel now deh watch bbnaija season 121.

And that's the end of their vision. Cars and probably house?

What then happens if the car is stolen or a corrupt police or soldier points a gun to his head, steal his car or even cut off his life?

When will black people understand that a functional society is the most crucial, not personal goals and aggrandizement?

Like how difficult is it to realise?

Disgustingly primitive people. Jeez.

It is very tough.

No hope for students anymore. School fees in federal University is now above N250K. Yet u study to graduate to no job.

Thank u Nigerian Government. Thank you Nigerian Politicians. Your children will eat the fruit of their labour.

Can this happen in Abroad?

Those that have japad or are doing well abroad should sponsor one person in Nigeria in their Japa journey.

As little as sponsoring someone's to get his international passport will go a long way.

It's just N35K ($35)

That the least u can do.

Atleast with our Passport in our hand, we can start applying for scholarships abroad early enough.

Country is hard

Oya, who will sponsor mine?

Their children are already eating the fruit of nigerians' labour.

Attached below is wike's child abroad and other xldren.

Just accept that nigerians are pyschologically defeated and lily-livered people with no cultural orientation.

Their children are coming back from overseas to rule over your own children.

Humans are like sheep.

No matter how bad things get, they won't improvise, they will just do things because others are doing it, they need to feel among, and have no plans with their life.

With all the graduates without jobs, and how the internet age has made education accessible via other means, people still pass this torture for an education that is subpar in Nigeria. For what?

FOR WHAT?

Many students are making a fortune through crypto. They have time and luxury to study the market and make one or two bucks through it.

I have seen and I can testify that they dominate that space and it's a life saver for them.

Though crypto is a no go area for me because for years I have studied, tried and lost so I just have to give up and stop wasting hard earned money into it but I can attest that thousands of students have seen their lives changed through that space .

For those finding it hard to survive, I can feel their pain.

During my days as a student, even though I was one of the most broke student in campus, I think the hardship now is nothing compared to what we faced then.

Between 2011-2015 I was a student and had to do menial jobs to survive. I remember my brothers who were my sponsors then could only afford to give me 5k for the whole month (not always sha) and from that 5k I will transport ₦30 from Okpara avenue to new layout in Enugu and still transport ₦30 back. I think now it's over ₦200 for same trip (been long have been there)

From that 5k, I will buy 3 paints of garri at ogbete market (₦150 per paint) and will also buy 2 paints of rice (₦400 per paint)

From that 5k, I will barb, wash, even buy water and pay bills and sometimes there will be balance for me into the next month.

I feel for students from poor homes seriously.

Last year, I helped someone pay her lodge rent, same last year I paid school fees for a guy, this year I have done same for a total stranger.
