I have been wondering how undergraduates have been surviving this harsh economy.

Things were not costly then, but are nothing to write home about now.
You have to spend 2000 naira to eat comfortablely these days. Over to you students, how have you been surviving?

Go to school on empty stomach.

Comeback to cook after school circa 4pm.

Rinse and Repeat.

On repeat!

Edit: I can see a lot of viewers and likes on this thread. If you have the whole base and capacity to support any of the students around you, kindly do so. They'll appreciate it.

one thing about students is grace to remain on one food diet for months.

Rice today tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. What a grace!

It's very sad.. people that make an honest living are seriously suffering the bald economic situation. Even transporting yourself to work is another work on its own.. imagine ignoring calls to hangout cos of cost of fueling the ride, thank heavens my parents are doing very fine if not, another burden.. infact, naija is a burden on us right now

It is very tough.

No hope for students anymore. School fees in federal University is now above N250K. Yet u study to graduate to no job.

Thank u Nigerian Government. Thank you Nigerian Politicians. Your children will eat the fruit of their labour.

Can this happen in Abroad?

Those that have japad or are doing well abroad should sponsor one person in Nigeria in their Japa journey.

As little as sponsoring someone's to get his international passport will go a long way.

It's just N35K ($35)

That the least u can do.

Atleast with our Passport in our hand, we can start applying for scholarships abroad early enough.

Country is hard

Oya, who will sponsor mine?

How is anyone earning less than $100 per month surviving?!!

That's the real question.

Some university students have more stipend and allowances than graduates.
