The probability of Trossard scoring that goal before he received the pass was like zero. Baba collected pass and deleted two players. He ran inside box and ridiculed Allison. Oh my God. Make Brighton send azza, I wan do giveaway.

Liverpool actually had zero shot on target today? Unbelievable!

I was one of those who really supported him here. The excuse then was that he is low on confidence and that he has not properly settled in. One ridiculous back pass changed my mind. No way you're so low in confidence that you wouldn't be able to do something as simple as ABC on the pitch.

For the sake of our 65m, I hope he turns out well sha.

Roland17:

Kai is killing the progression of our attack. I have lost count of how many times he decided to make a back pass rather than a forward play. Also, he is spending way too much time coming deep… Martinelli has been our only outlet and he has been spectacular.

I noticed Nelli was our only Attack and that's why i was 50-50 on his removal. Kiwior had no support. So he brought in Trossard that could do both. It paid off. He left Kai on cos of height play. Lol

Did Kiwior outperform Zinny defensively?

His removal shows either something happened in halftime room or he was the weak link. He doesn't even have Salah tonight o. No Salah, No TAA🤣

Arteta decided to go with 4-2-4 instead of 3-2-5. With Rice-Jorginho pivot, there was no need for Zinchenko to invert. So he went for the more defensive Kiwior.

Trossard is one player whose efficiency is near 100. He gets few minutes but high gains.

A very Matured response and win from us.

Saliba with the big error but thankfully Allison canceled it out and bailed him out in the spirit of sportsmanship grin
Hopefully Saliba won't be too overconfident to a fault next time.

Finally, we've finding way to beat the big boys that matters (Man city, Liverpool). People who are always a thorn in our flesh whether we're in good form or not. Kudos to Arteta on that.

I dunno if Saka injury is serious cos we really need him but jesus can take over if he's not available. We need a fit and reinvigorated Saka heading into the 2nd part of this season

Trossard. What a beauty!!
Turning a seemingly harmless ball into a dangerous attack and finishing it off superbly.
What a player!!
Something to always be thankful to Chelsea for cheesy

We need to keep up the pace and be close to the top towards the business end of the season. Timber, ESR, Partey coming back from will give us that finishing we need. Hopefully!!
But we need to be very close to the top as we are now for these boys to help us.

And lastly... An attack of Liverpool lacking Salah, Mane and Firmino no dey fear me. Those guys na Pstd masters.

Anyways... A very very good and needed win to still keep in touch!!!

COYG!!!

I really pray this is the final reset.

The only pain is defensive error is making Raya not be on 8 clean sheets by now. Naim dey pain me.

Got scared when they said Coote was on VAR duty. They said he made Error for not giving the Odegaard Handball as pk last year. So i was thinking he will do something funny today. Unfortunately nothing of such.

Jorginho balled abeg. His best game this season. E remain for Arteta to start subbing off Kai. If Zinny and Nelli can be, why can't Kai? Kai did well in 2nd half sha. I can't even remember the last Arsenal player that made a player sent off.

Odegaard drought continues. Like he's played every game since Viera(2) assist vs Man U and is still on 3 assist.

Lol, the way you put it as if it's Odegaard's fault.

Perfect pass to Nketiah against wolves on a one on one. The latter missed it.

Perfect pass to Havertz in today's game. Pure one on one. Yet he missed it. Thank goodness for Saka being at the right place to rebound home.

Perfect pass to Kiwior in today's game too. Chipped pass for a one on one but the latter just nodded it straight to Allison

A pure chance he created to Gabriel Jesus against Nottingham whom the latter crashed against the bar. Another potential assist been wasted.

All these are just the top of my head that I didn't even have to think deep oo. I wonder how many more I would pick up if I try to remember. And all these ones I pointed out are BIG CHANCES.

This is one of the reasons I hardly look at stats. It'll make one look as if he's not doing anything meaningful all these while.

Sometimes it's really painful seeing all these things on behalf of players sef lipsrsealed

That is why I said stats aren't conclusive. Because the stats people look at are the ones they shouldn't be looking at. Goals and assists. There are other more indicative stats that give better assessment of a player than simply G/A

Kai was the reason we won yesterday.

By taking off Konate who was the main pain of Liverpool defense, he created space for the two goals. First he marked out Konate for Martinelli to attack the second goal, then he got Konate sent off that released Trossard for the third goal. The way he beat Konate even Konate knew he was going to commit the foul that will send him home early.

Jamie carragher on arteta and odegaard celebration
You have won just walk down the tunnel
Haters on X: Arsenal celebrating like they have won the league

Ian Wright on the Arsenal celebrations after the full-time whistle:

“The negativity towards Arsenal’s celebrations, what have we done wrong? Stuart, the photographer, is a life long Gunner, it’s an opportunity for a memory, why’s everyone trying to kill the joy? Don’t kill the joy.

“As soon as Arsenal do anything, everyone piles on like Arsenal aren’t allowed any joy. Don’t let them spoil it. My manager, keep celebrating with passion like you do.

“Just leave us alone man.”

These assholes can't even hide the hate again like wrighty said they should leave us the fvck alone

Lmaoooo...

So ball that was launched to Martinelli by Gabriel naim Havertz name don enter inside as marking Konate. When the same Martinelli have Van dijk to worry and was just fortunate about the goal. Na this same goal you drag Havertz praise singing inside? grin

First goal is even worse. He missed a pure one one one that should have put us ahead as a striker he played yet you claimed he created space. So space creation involves missing goals too?
He should just be fortunate the ball fell kindly to Saka and not anywhere else If not na curses for don dey follow am this morning

Don't mind them. Ode was not even doing excessive celebration. He just want Stuart to have a memorable moment. It is like Stuart delivered his typical lecture before the match yesterday.
