Don't mind them. Ode was not even doing excessive celebration. He just want Stuart to have a memorable moment. It is like Stuart delivered his typical lecture before the match yesterday.
I won't be suprised

Lol, the way you put it as if it's Odegaard's fault.

Perfect pass to Nketiah against wolves on a one on one. The latter missed it.

Perfect pass to Havertz in today's game. Pure one on one. Yet he missed it. Thank goodness for Saka being at the right place to rebound home.

Perfect pass to Kiwior in today's game too. Chipped pass for a one on one but the latter just nodded it straight to Allison

A pure chance he created to Gabriel Jesus against Nottingham whom the latter crashed against the bar. Another potential assist been wasted.

All these are just the top of my head that I didn't even have to think deep oo. I wonder how many more I would pick up if I try to remember. And all these ones I pointed out are BIG CHANCES.

This is one of the reasons I hardly look at stats. It'll make one look as if he's not doing anything meaningful all these while.

Sometimes it's really painful seeing all these things on behalf of players sef lipsrsealed
You've said it all. And it's not looking like they want to help his case anytime soon. They should help his matter. He should be on double Assists by now. 009 for him so far. That's why it's bothering me. Abi make we wait till UCL resumes? Those ones just dey post Arteta upandan lately🤣

Kai was the reason we won yesterday.

By taking off Konate who was the main pain of Liverpool defense, he created space for the two goals. First he marked out Konate for Martinelli to attack the second goal, then he got Konate sent off that released Trossard for the third goal. The way he beat Konate even Konate knew he was going to commit the foul that will send him home early.
He played a big part in the game. I wish Jesus was fit, he for come run riot. Kai and Trossard using same dribble to cause wahala. The Players did what needed to be done up front to make us win that game sha. Kai is wack as CF

Tbh, I'm not worried. He's just unlucky and that's that. Assist is a stat that's dependent on your teammates not the player himself. As long as he keeps on creating those chances Frequently then it's just a matter of time. I would've been worried if he wasn't creating at all.

All in all, it's a good win for us ystdy grin

Havertz really tried ystdy but then I'm not surprised about his influence ystdy.

I've always maintained since beginning of season that the only way we can harness Havertz Is to play him at CF. That's the only place he'll have an influence in our game.

Ystdy seems one of his best games in arsenal shirt. Same with Man city in community shield. And that's because both games he played CF.

I've watched him keenly for over 3yrs at Chelsea to conclude that he cannot make it at Midfield or give us that needed influence we need in Midfield.

Drop him in CF let him win aerial balls, linkup play, run channels and hassle defenders, then just "hope" he scores if he gets a chance. That's what he's always good at(aside the scoring).

Drop him in midfield and you'll just be grinding and gnashing your teeth. How he did it at Leverkusen in midfield is a mystery but I doubt he actually played as a Midfielder. I'm probably thinking SS cos nothing even shows that he really have a good Midfielder attribute.

That's true. The last tike i dropped MT Analysis from Twitter, bot banned me for 2days. I would have dropped the link. They planned to exploit Zinny that's why he was removed. Our midfielders were superb. They played fast football. Nice

Jorginho really played well Yesterday; In fact he played much more better than Havertz.

I believe Arteta needs to caution Saliba to slow down on his overconfidence; it was his overconfidence that led to that loserpool goal.

I hope Gbariel Jesus will be given chance to play in that Saka role in subsequent games if Saka remains out injured/unfit

Woww... I would have loved to watch the analysis oo.

Anyways if that's true, that's a good one from Arteta and I'm glad it paid off but we were also fortunate Salah no dey too. I believe Kiwi wouldn't have had it easy defensively the way he had it ystdy.

Our Midfielders were very good. Hats of to Jorginho, Rice and Odegaard. Those 3 really tried well

it was not even close sef. My man of the match would be between him Rice and Martinelli.

Did you see that defence splitting pass Jorg gave to Martinelli in the first half?

Lol, nobody even knew he'll pass that ball including Martinelli sef reason why the latter dittered.

Jones, McAlister, Gravenberch..

Only McAlister looks very good quality

Haters on X: Arsenal celebrating like they have won the league

Ian Wright on the Arsenal celebrations after the full-time whistle:

“The negativity towards Arsenal’s celebrations, what have we done wrong? Stuart, the photographer, is a life long Gunner, it’s an opportunity for a memory, why’s everyone trying to kill the joy? Don’t kill the joy.

“As soon as Arsenal do anything, everyone piles on like Arsenal aren’t allowed any joy. Don’t let them spoil it. My manager, keep celebrating with passion like you do.

“Just leave us alone man.”

These assholes can't even hide the hate again like wrighty said they should leave us the fvck alone
These guys are kill joy! When we are playing poorly, they won’t let us breath, when we win and play well, they get unhappy and spew trash. I mean, these cats are getting upset over post game celebrations at the Emirates, our freaking home ground!

What was out of bounds that Odegaard did? Now I am wishing Arteta carried Havertz on his shoulders to do laps around the field..I am just waiting for them to tell us they are charging Arteta for that 3rd goal celebration, na there dem go sabi this username… awon werey!

I think it is more of miscommunication between him and Raya with him being culpable than overconfidence. He thought Raya would come get the ball but Raya wasn’t coming.

The moment he turned, he should have just kicked the ball away, he had so many options and was in control of the situation before he lost control of the situation.

I was glad Thiago didn't get to play any part in the first half at all, I just had this gut feeling he would've played passes towards that Zinchenko's wing and cause us problems.

Truly McAlister was the only one in that their midfield that showed serious threat or made attempt at breaking our play. I also commend Arteta for making sure our players directed most of our attacking plays through Alexander-Arnold's side of the pitch. There was no need trying to make Saka go one-on-one with Gomez who seem to just know how to out-muscle Saka.

I think all our 3 goals came from Martinelli/Alexander-Arnold's side of the field. That is a tactic that really worked.

Yeah, maybe there was miss-communication between them, but then again If Raya had come out, he would be taking a very huge gamble. Saliba's first instinct as a defender should have been to kick the ball out considering the whole struggle was happening in his box.

While we are at it, can we give Gabu his due? Gabu is no longer playing behind the shadows of Saliba, he is his own man now and has had some spectacular displays. He should be our captain, Odegaard doesn’t inspire me as a captain, e just dey use am get first team when he is playing poorly.

True, Arteta deserves kudos for that.

Arnold was always there weak link and since they had an understrength Midfield (Ryan and Jones instead of Szobo and endo) it was really wise Arteta focused on Arnold's side since he couldn't get help. Coupled with the fact that no Arnold -Salah synergy.

Thank goodness we really tried to exploit it well

Omorrr... Just finished watching the highlights again.

1. Just imagine Wengerball incisive passes we started from back and used in carving Liverpool open naim Havertz go miss. Chaiii, that one for enter among arsenal sweet goal collection but thanks to Havertz it won't

2. The second goal, looking at it critically, I now believe we didn't praise Martinelli enough for his role in that goal.
When the ball was in the air and Van Dijk have already guided Martinelli for Allison to clear the ball, Just a few seconds before Allison was to do so, Martinelli gave Van dijk a little nudge which unbalanced the latter to move into Allison's path. Allison seemingly to avoid a collision with Van Dijk and not playing the ball straight onto Van Dijk body made a last second split decision not to play the ball to avoid such collusion and that's how the ball fell kindly into Martinelli's path.

In a nutshell, it's Martinelli that caused the commotion and blunder we all felt Allison did.
Smart!!!

3. As for the 3rd goal, it just proves how sometimes to get a player who can carve something out of nothing is truly important.
Moreover, I never knew Trossard have such a speedy run like that or is it that Elliot is slow?
Lastly, it's always good to go for goal when there's no option. Most of our players in that situation would have looked for cutbacks or a pass even though a pass at that situation is not possible.

I know the absence of Konate in the pitch helped sha cos I doubt he'll have such free run at that zone straight into the box if Konate was present
