They went all the way from being humiliated to the final....to qualify for R16 they needed to wait for all the group teams to play their last group games before they could know their fate...in fact if Tunisia had converted their chances against south Africa or had zambia drawn against Morocco...cote d'Ivoire wouldn't have qualified at all...
