Ivory Coast are playing at home, I expect some serious “Boju Boju” officiating. We need to end the game in regulation time. Thinking about it don dey give me headache already.

Heard people don dey collect student loan and palliatives,....Na Agbadorians be first batch though, Obidients Na last for queue...

Facing more serious matters now people are suffering more than ever before. It's just this afcon with super eagles passionate performance that's still keeping several people mute for now, had it been we have been eliminated since group stage or last night the trapped boiling anger of many people will have been spilled out starting from yesterday. How will i carry 30k to market and I can't really buy stuff reasonable that will last me and others for long even though I'm not in more expensive cities like Abuja and Lagos? I'm sure you have seen the video of the man who was crying in the market cause of how expensive foodstuff are compared to his money, that one is recorded ooo if everybody starts to do his own lamentations even on this thread it would not be funny at all.
If you know how many people watched that match with empty stomach shey you go believe? One of the guys in our viewing center that followed us to burn down the place after osimhen's disallowed goal later confessed after match celebrations that he had nothing to eat that day and probably next that the joy of we entering final is what is fueling him we just gats put one or two together for him even with our own problems. Garri that they said is for the common man isn't common again, no light, the only time I've been seeing light 80% since the beginning of the year is from after 12 to some minutes after 5 or 6 in the morning, only on rare occasions do I see it in the afternoon or evening, I was just happy the street my viewing center is they brought the light by halftime
Notice how many people are not running apc or tinubu pr like before. On X,on Facebook,on nairaland it is more of obi or sometimes atiku insults or what would he have done differently since he destroyed anambra. Even the so called dangote refinery that was the supposed hope dangote has come to clear everybody that's he going to use international rates after importing crude, after using a lot of our forex for his refinery, sharp capitalist grin There's even a joke in my street that if anybody is caught defending tinubu around this time of hardship we will gather round and baff him with slaps and I'm sure even people that voted him would even join and make the loudest noise. I think you can see the protests in Kano and other parts of the country? More look likely to come.
Whether we win or lose on Sunday more and more people will start facing our problems one by one even after the euphoria of a victory of we win because like alcohol or weed the sensations won't last for long.

Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, Pastor Tunde Bakare and human rights activist, Mr. Femi Falana, in Lagos on Monday faulted the decision of the Federal Government to remove fuel subsidy, describing the action as anti-people.

They urged President Goodluck Jonathan to rescind his decision to withdrew fuel subsidy, saying he should revert to the N65 pump price.

The trio spoke at a rally to condemn the subsidy withdrawal, which forced Labour to begin an indefinite strike on Monday.

Presidents, Coalition Against Corrupt leaders and Campaign for Democracy, Mr. Debo Adeniran and Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin including other notable human rights activists and lawyers also spoke in the same vein.

Soyinka in a speech read on his behalf by Okei-Odumakin, said hardly had government detachment from the people it was supposed to serve been so evident as shown in the subsidy removal.

He stated that it was ironical that the government obtained an injunction to stop the strike, considering the little consideration it paid to the judiciary in the case involving the former President of the Appeal Court, Justice Ayo Salami.

Soyinka said, ‘‘The bruited palliatives, as illusory as electoral promises, belong to what Nigerians routinely describes as ‘medicine after death’. A serious government would have emplaced the ‘palliatives’ first, worked assiduously to ensure that they were effectively enforced, with, at the very least, a guaranteed stabilisation of the existing level of Nigerian subsistence, which was nothing to crow about in any case. Nothing remotely approaching this protective measure has taken place, only-Business As Usual.’’

The playwright added that if the Nigeria Labour Congress chose to ignore the order, it ‘‘has impeccable precedents – it is merely the chickens coming home to roost. While Jonathan’s predecessor, Olusegun Obasanjo, repeatedly pummelled the judiciary into a state of coma, Goodluck Jonathan has driven an iron stake through its heart.’’

Noting that Nigerians had again been placed at the mercy of rampaging market forces, Soyinka added that the patient beast of burden called the Nigerian citizen was overloaded with its knees buckled only that its spirit refused to be crushed.

Bakare stated that the Jonathan administration should revert to N65 fuel price and not pay any subsidy to anybody until an agreement was reached on the way forward.

He said that the protest was not about politics but on happenings in the country.

Falana, who noted that the protest was for freedom, challenged the government to expose the cabal within the oil sector.

The lawyer lamented that it was only in Nigeria that government would be saying there was a cabal that cannot be touched.

He said, ‘‘The protest is to ensure that all the enemies of our country are exposed to ridicule and embarrassment. It is a movement for the revolution of our country. Why is it that an infinitesimal number continues to suffer majority of the people. Those who said you have no right to demonstrate are talking balderdash.’’

That boju boju officiating is the only concern there and again those CIV are like ghost who rose after being killed.

We should just convert our chances and wrap it up within the regulation time.
