I prefer using my mirrors while reversing. I know many drivers look back while reversing. How did you choose your style and why?

Ok, but I love looking at side and central mirrors while reversing.

Iā€™m not too comfortable looking at the mirror. It can be confusing. I some time look back before a swap to another lane self

Not everything can be seen through the rear mirror while reversing. So I prefer looking back to also avoid veering off.

I prefer to look back wen reversing on a narrow street. I use mirrors to watch other cars coming behind or around me.

The reason those mirrors were installed was to ensure UNDIVIDED ATTENTION. The moment you take your eyes off the front windshield, you have lost control of whatever is ahead of you. That split second can change a lot of things.

As for me, I even got a bigger inner rearview mirror to improve my vision and control. You can check on jumia for it.

I mostly use mirrors. With mirrors you can see both sides and the back. Unless it's a really difficult situation, mirror it is for me.
Many Nigerians never learnt how to really drive anyway, so anything goes.

If you make it a custom to always look at the back whenever you want to reverse, you will never learn how to use the mirror which is actually there for that reason. If you go for driving test overseas and you re looking at the back instead of using the mirrors... You go come back for the test.
