Check top 10 LGA in Nigeria you will found out that most of them are in the North. Eg Toru local government in Bauchi is bigger than Enugu or Anambra state yet they are asking for land in tiny Enugu state, it shows they have another motive, they are not looking for land to ranch their cows, they are looking for land to conquer. If it's the state govt that's going to be in control of the ranch it should be given a trial to see if it can stop the constant fulaniherdsmen menace in enugu but if the govt is just leasing the land out to the fulani herders is a complete no no for me.

If it is government land, why not?. If I have land, I can partner with cattle herders. Buy them vehicles and dig borehole and the business will boom. Five hundred heads is big business. It can sell ten million naira in beef every month apart from milk and it will employ graduates
