2024: Kenya's Bernard Sang wins Lagos City Marathon

Sang finished 9th and 3rd at the Lagos City Marathons in Years 2020 and 2023 respectively.

He braced the tape at 2hrs 15mins.

His compatriots, Cheprot and Edwin Kiptoo finished in second and third positions respectively.

Kenyans are great runners, they are very good at long distance running.


They are the ones winning every marathon race that is organized in Nigeria.

Shehu Muazu, first Nigerian to cross the line.

He was the second Nigerian to cross the line and 16th overall last year.

Great feat.
Kenyans are very very good runners because of their diet, genes, training process and where they live. Some studies show that their legs are slightly longer and lighter than the average human.

The 25-year-old Ethiopian, Kebene Chala was the first woman to brace the tape.

She placed second at the 2020 & 2023 editions of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.

Kenyan and Ethiopian people will never complain of fuel subsidy removal coz Dem no dey drive go anywhere. Dey will rather run to work and travel to their village running 🤣🤣

Make AccessBank just rename am from Lagos to Kenya-Ethiopia marathon. Or make dem organize am for their country.
