An helicopter crash happened in the USA . The Americans that announced it only announced the crash and the manifest they have before the crash happened .

Now anything could've happened; Wigwe could as well have not been on the flight at the die minute despite his name being on the manifest . It is only normal for someone handling the social media of an organization like access holdings to confirm 100% that their oga was on the craft and died in the incident . However while waiting he didn't keep quiet , he mentioned it that they were working with the authorities in the USA to get full confirmation .

Okay look at the man's PA that has just been announced he didn't board the flight despite his name being on the manifest . I'm sure some of his family members would already be mourning before finding out he didn't board the ill-fated flight .

It was later confirmed he didn't board the flight .

There's nothing wrong in the social media handler taking time to confirm if their oga was indeed on the flight or not. It's no big deal as u see it

Something he could get done far more easily and with less risk in Nigeria?

I can just see his search history now. How to sabotage x1 model of helicopter. How to sneak into maintenance hangar. How to buy materials for the task. How to clean your fingerprints. How to hire a chopper saboteur.

Before you can decide to discreetly sabotage a helicopter, you first have to know the model of the helicopter. So our man would have had to somehow find the exact model of chopper then research it. Then somehow wander among mainstence crews and do this. Keeping in mind that for purposes of insurance, lawsuits etc aircraft are monitored and maintenance logged so everyone can avoid liability in cases like this.
