Why did Christianity and Islam ,Abrahamic religions triumph over traditional religions of so many areas in the world not just Africa.

Christianity triumphed in ancient Rome,to the extent it abadoned all its popular gods,also the later Greeks, triumphed over their popular gods.

Christianity also triumphed in Europe over their traditional religions likewise in AFRICA.

Islam also triumphed in a lot of places even over the great Persia( now Iran) as far as India.

Only in the far east particularly China and Japan did Abrahamic religions didn't hold sway but made in roads especially in south Korea.

My questions is how and why did this Abrahamic religions appeal to people especially elites of most regions of the world as against their indigenous religions.

It did triumphed over Rome after Jesus Christ appeared to Constantine a Roman emperor and helped him to fight and win his own civil war in Rome 300 years later, but same Jesus Christ did not help his own people fight their war against Rome that came and conquered his people, occupied their land and took them away as slaves.
