One major standout from Xavi among every other central midfielders is his ability to receive pass under pressure without losing the ball. You will count with your fingers the CM who have such ability. Just cast your mind back as to why a Fabregas with better pass accuracy couldn't control both Barca and Spain midfield,it is because he lacked this ability.
