Who gets 2kva 24v Felicity hybrid inverter for sale?
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by isangjohnson: 5:43pm On Feb 11
JoeSef0:
3 pieces of 300w
Not one 300w
Even one 300w is not still advisable. A common 300w pv has a load voltage of about 36v and may likely produce 8.3a in full sun.
So 200w and below is the best for pwm cc.

I dont really have much idea about orientation. I have not mounted it on my roof yet. I just placed it outside for now. I want to add one more 550w to it before I put it on the roof. The wire length from the panel to my MPPT charge controller is 10yards. I am using a 6mm pure copper wire. The panel current is rated for 13A under loads. To troubleshoot if it was my wire that was the problem, I actually took both my controller and my battery close to the panel and ran the original panel wire straight from the panel to the controller and I was still getting 275, 280W max at peak sunlight. So I dont think it is my wire. It is a single 550w Jinko Panel bought directly from Foauni stores.
Here is the picture of where I placed it. There is no shading at all. Ignore those other two panels. Those were the first 300w panels I bought. Those ones too are giving me 100W max per panel. So I have been wondering what is the problem. Lets assume those 300w are fake panels, this Jinko 550w is definitely original as Foauni store does not sell fake things.

Nothing is wrong with your panel. My solar yield has greatly dropped since January. Before January i was getting over 2000w instantaneous yield from a pv of 2440w. Now I rarely see 1000w which is less than 45%. The weather hasn't been pv friendly recently.

Nice. It is Jinko 550w own I got from Foauni but my yield is just like 50% of what the panel should produce. Everybody is saying it is currently because of the weather. Are you still getting that 2730watt this period? Or your yield has dropped.

I was asking you about your location to know whether you are in Lagos and possible close to me so that we can connect and test with another MPPT charge controller at no extra cost to you, but you didn't respond. Anyways....

Install the Overkill Solar app on android

use it to reset the BMS to defaults.

I'm sure you can figure your way around the app. Load the correct default preset for the pack (number of cells) and write it to the BMS

Thanks for this detailed suggestion. I will go to my friend's place this new week and try it out there

Okay.
I can see they are 3.2v, that means you need 4 pieces to run a 12v inverter right?

Guys if I want to carry 800w of solar panel power over 10yards distance (37v, 22Amps), how many mm wire will be the recommended wire please for optimal performance and little to no loss.

I would suggest you sell the industrial fan, tv and the ceiling fan and buy the energy efficient ones. There is no wisdom in powering these heavy appliances with solar, even with prepaid meter.

3 tv's not 1....I may not use the industrial fan with the solar but I just want to know the cost of set up with materials.

Good morning everyone please I still need your input on this. Thanks.
lukay007:
Good afternoon everyone and happy Sunday, please kindly advise me, I'm planning to set up a phone charging shop with about 100-200 charging ports and I'm planning to setup a solar inverter to avert the cost of fuel and all that.

Please advise me on setup that will be more suitable in terms of inverter size, solar panel and maybe battery size.

On the side can I use the solar inverter without battery. Thanks I will appreciate your suggestions and contributions.
