You will easily get help if you provide the Watt of the appliance and possibly back up duration you need

What might be the cause of solar panel amperage drop. My friends panel installed 2months ago, used to produce 26amps max initially, 2 months later, amperage dropped to 8amps..what might be the cause. The panels are ipower panels..

Ah.
Change the main switch it's bad.
If you can lose it, check the wiring and end that both L & N passes through the main switch.

Some Electrician will use only 1 line.

But I can tell you for free the culprit is the main switch.

I have experienced this thing before, when I was managing a PWM inverter as well. But I noticed the house had poor grounding and the inverter and cc itself didn't have a grounding point.

I noticed if I used a cable to connect to the battery and touch my window burglary, which is like partially grounding the PV, the issue reduced, but was still there just less worrisome.

So I'd wager you should confirm the grounding of your hybrid inverter (or ground the battery head, but I'm not sure if that is electrically safe to do).

Solar panels still available
Direct from container, Non relabelled 245w used poly panels are available. #54k

245w used half-cut, mono panels #60k

300w used, mono panels also available for #77k

Original 460w new, half-cut mono panels #135k

Original new Jinko 550w available for #150k

Hi everyone, good morning.

Those used panels are still available Incase anyone is interested.

However there is a deal that just came to my notice from the same place I got my previous earlier cracked panels from. But these are non-cracked, decommissioned, tier 1 panels. They were decommissioned due to upgrade of panels to higher watts.

It's *#141/watt* between 300w and 395w capacities are available.

They are most likely mono panels, but I can't confirm that.

The deadline is the 17th of this month. If interested, DM me sharply.

Cheers.

I guess 12v is no longer in the markets but you may see 24v and 48v. High price.....
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by JoeSef0(m): 6:37am On Feb 09
So basically
There's no implications to it if it's left that way?

I really don't know their watts, just estimates below
6 watts bulbs 100w
Industrial standing fan 140W
Ceiling fan 100W
Freezer 130W
TV 240w
Laptops 60-120watts

I would suggest you sell the industrial fan, tv and the ceiling fan and buy the energy efficient ones. There is no wisdom in powering these heavy appliances with solar, even with prepaid meter.

Thanks to everyone input to my case earlier
I've gone to install an external CC and the series issue has stopped. Everything is fine now.

Just a quick question
How many amps should a 300*3 mono solar panels produce at peak Sun?

I use same inverter and its being doing okay. Like someone commented above, doubt if the grounding of the house is active. The inverter also isnt grounded from the pics. Some of this earthing issues only pop up after u install an inverter and it has to be corrected for safety reasons
