Aina is the main reason we lost, all the goals came from his poor marking of that young Ivorian striker. The way the small boy was overspeeding Aina and dribbling him was shameful

This is the person that killed our game.

He was missing for the whole time he was on. The absence of Chukwueze in the game led to Osimhen and Lookman burning out too early.

Iwobi, as usual, was very mediocre too. He was just giving away passes to the CIV players. Even the Ivoreans would be shocked at our not just useless for Nigerian but extremely useful for their own team

The combination of Simon, Lookman, and Osimhen were good for the attack, and they always mounted pressure on the opponent's defence. But the moment Simon was benched for reasons best known to the coach, I kind of sensed we will be losing the game.
