Why didn't he speak up on insecurity in Buharis era? The North was busy proposing and defending the "amnesty" idea for terrorists which has obviously created more problems for the nation.

If farmers are able to farm without terrorists destroying their farms, maiming, kidnapping and killing them, our hunger situation will probably not be as bad as this.

Prices of food stuff should not be one of the consequences of fuel subsidy removal if Nigerians are farming, imagine if northerners don't practice Agriculture, how would our lives be? A bag of beans would be imported and sold at ₦1.5m, northerners are so much underappreciated, we Yorubas have enough and more fertile land than north, but our youths have much more interest in Yahoo and Hook-up.

As much as i agree with the thinks you say, i don't think northerners are underappreciated, as a matter of fact, the products they bring to SW are not free, infact they make better profit here in SW compared to the prices in the north, political wise North are over compensated

The issue of farming in yoruba land be like water pass garri, no measures can fix in a short time, with the hyper inflation rate on food stuff we need short term measures to arrest the pace, ... even as at the time our borders were open and items were coming in freely from contonu Naira had value way above the cepha, re-opening our border and letting food items flow in freely is our surest redemption

What is your Opinion about the tattered Economy of Nigeria under APC

Patience.buhari left a tattered economy and tinubu has to rebuild everything.sometjing that was damaged within 8 years cannot be fixed within 7 months,it will take at least 3 years.so let's give him till next year.unlike buhari, tinubu is a businessman and most of his friends are business so he knows what to do.it is a matter of time...
Again, you can see the policies and moves coming out from cbn which will stabilize the monetary policies before dec.from there, the next focus is insecurity and there is a great effort by the govt to flush out bandits and kidnappers.then, another focus is on agriculture and employment generation.then infrastructure.he might not deliver as much projects as buhari but he will try.the economy and insecurity will occupy tinubu tenure

That's the bitter truth but those who chose to farm in the SW are facing difficult times from herders and terrorists. Some farmers went to Soun of Ogbomoso recently to complain. Same in Ekiti and parts of Ondo.
If insecurity is well managed, farming will attract more young farmers. Not every young man wants to live foolishly as a yahoo boy/hook up girl. It's a curse filled life for those who understand spirituality.

The way the north is lamenting about hunger is really shameful, with all the vast arable land in the North it can't feed itself, after landlocking the Igbos in the old Eastern region after the civil war and Buhari even calling the South East a dot we can now see that having large expanses of land and you can't feed is useless

With bandits..bokoharam all over the place..
U expect them to farm...
I doubt if u have ever been to the North...

Nigerian youth should act now, arise and save this country before these folks who are close to graves destroy it.

A Derica of beans last week friday was N700, as of this afternoon I bought it N1,100.
A paint ruber of garri was N1,700 last week, I bought N2,500 this afternoon
Gas was 1k for 1kg, today is N1,500.

My landlady a woman of 80 years+ was crying this morning when a tooth paste she bought last at N500 is sold N900 today, she said this is the worse government she has ever experienced in Nigeria.

If we don't act now, there will be serious problem before December.
I remember quoting you in one of your tribal comments.
Nothing like acting. Your country will use tribal onslaught to kill the momentum.
Just try and endure.

by the seven gods
by the celestial beings
by the lands and seas
without food and drink this early morning.
I curse anyone that helped in bringing calamity called Tinubu and Apc upon us just because of a mere banter.
I curse you and yours because this is purely wickedness.
lives have been loss
hope shattered
jobs lost
home broken
families in kidnappers den.
over 200 million Nigerians hungry just because you don't want a certain tribe to rule.
you made that choice knowing how the party you're supporting destroyed Nigeria for the past 8 years.
but you don't care.
all you cared was to come online and taunt those you think they lost.
your taunting at the expense of over 200m Nigerians.
Today I curse you and yours and the blood of the innocent spilled because of this administration incompetence is on your head and that of your generation.
it shall never be well with you.
So shall it be!
Amen

Emir should save his breath.
Thïefnubu's 3point agenda is to Steal, to Kill and to Destroy.
Nigerians should just brace for more Tinubulation.
Bandits and herdsmen fight and kill people. Nigerians cannot fight back and defend themselves.
Politicians steal, people cannot arrest and prosecute them.
Now president stole mandate and cheated through elections.
Nigerians still cannot fight back the injustice.
Are we so useless as a people?

Shut it man.
US has less than 5% of their population into farming but are able to produce enough food.
Nigeria has more than 40% of the population into agriculture yet there is food crisis. You think the number of Nigerians into agriculture is not enough that's why we import food?

Where is your own farm btw
APC people are daft people that's why they produce mediocre government
You will know them by their watery arguments

So even the North that farms well, can they go to farm now? The North stopped farming because of insecurities. So the government needs to fix that and stop blaming people who do not want to lose their lives producing food for ingrates like you.

Food was never a problem before we had government in this country. That shows you that people will do their things with or without government. So stop blaming people. Blame the situations and the enablers of the situations that stopped people from farming.

I can't almost count my Venue friends, many of whom are farmers, who have relocated to Lagos to start life all over again.

Issues happen and you blame the victim instead of the oppressor.

Mind yourself

The only way to address the hunger and starvation in the land is to stop open grazing of caltes and encourage ranches.

The Emir is not an illiterate, so he should know perfectly well why some offices of CBN have been moved to Lagos. Nowhere in the world are all the departments of a central bank in a single location. Why do we always look to bring ethnic sentiments into everything?

Is Abuja even a Northern State.

Abuja is in the centre of Nigeria, not a Northern state.
