How as much as hunger is readily affecting everyone Emir would have started complaining before this regime? Hunger didn't start today in Nigeria; It has deepen roots long before now. |

Abemy: The Fulanis will kick against this and start killings as usual. The only way to solve this problem is to exterminate all Fulani terrorists and bandits. Then make it a huge crime to use cattle to destroy people's farms, followed by serious enforcement and prosecution of offenders. 2 Likes |

esthel:People like you are the problem we face in this country. The truth is staring you in the face but you refuse to acknowledge it. But please remind me again why Tinubu volunteered himself and was 'elected' if not to resolve all those anomaly to begin with? What is the point of elections if nothing changes for the better only for the worst? |

Asswipemod:Is there such thing as "normal times" in Nigeria...has there ever been? Those responsible for managing Nigeria always create the worst scenario and ask people to adjust which this very clamoring is a part of. Whether this is a trying time or not, subsistence agriculture can never create food security which is a necessity in every healthy society. Like you said, it is always about survival survival but never about growth and sustenance. Then it begs the question, when will Nigeria ever grow since we are always about finding survival in the face of creating worse scenarios by our own hands, look for a way to survive it then create another worse scenario and repeat it. The food crisis in Nigeria is not because of the number of Nigerians engaged in Agriculture. I don't believe this needs to be explained. Let's assume you are right about the trying times and the need for people to farm, are you also aware farmers in Niger State and many other places pay tax to terrorists before they harvest their produce. The lead comment I responded to, the poster even insulted Southerners for being lazy that they don't want to farm. Perhaps he doesn't know people in the South also engage in one form of commerce or another before generating the needed monies to buy from farmers in the North. Is it that every Nigerian in the South or all over the country must abandon what they do that keeps the economy moving to engage in Agriculture because we want to survive? The number of farmers in Nigeria is never the reason why there's food crisis. Without solving the underlying problems, we'll continue to talk about farming as survival without actually surviving. 1 Like |

GEJ lost an election as an incumbent because he was foolish. It was easy to disqualify Bihari. He could have had his senators and rep sponsor a bill to eliminate people like Bubu immediately he took office. Something like, "all persons that committed treason against the state shall never be eligible to contest election in Nigeria". Coup remains a treason. GEJ as a PhD holder could have strengthen our institution. Perhaps, technology would have help him win the election. But he was a fool. Big one as that. Now we have terrorist sympathizers and drug lords in government. You really think they will loss an election. They play betshopagent: |

You are getting emotional for nothing. Tinubu as an incumbent will NEVER loss an election. Take that to the bank. You handed your government to a drug lord and you think he will let it go with all his wealth and power. Forget it my friend. Sicklebear28: |

Tinubu never promise Nigeria anything, all he said was "Emi lo kan" which translate to "its my turn" If you follow in campaign during election you will realize that he himself and a person never promise good governance. Some of his promises was to recruit 50 million Nigerian youths into the army and feed them with agbado "corn". And the rest of his campaign was just like a comedy show where he was making funny moves that most of them where transform into skits that went viral. Tinubu has always been a joke and that's who he is. My biggest fear is that Nigeria might continue like this for the next 8 years because my instincts keep telling me that the country is on auto pilot without anyone piloting it because he might probably be sleeping all day. Attend some few meets and go back to sleep, of course as an elderly man, he needs a lot of rest. God Bless Nigeria. ogododo: |

uba1991: North gave Tinubu highest vote the same way SW gave Buhari required votes or was it by North vote only that Buhari became president twice, majority of Buhari appointees are from where?was it not friends & family buhari appointed, Buhari nephew that sells recharge before now owns a private jet The north deserves nothing more than a fair share, all votes from each region are vital cos no president can win by North alone. North have enjoyed there time, drink water on it and rest |

ReubenE: This is an awesome submission. The truth is many Nigerians supporting the current laxity of the government do so because they've been subjected to suffering for so long that they can no longer tell the difference between SURVIVING and GROWING. "Nigeria will be great again" crew won't understand that great government leads to great policies and decision making which in turn makes for a great environment for citizens to thrive. 1 Like 1 Share |

The Emir is an hypocrite. He called out GEJ, he did not call out Buhari but called out Tinubu. If the north can't exercise the same patience they gave Buhari, they can go and jump into the lagoon. Tinubu has been a disaster, but the Emir doesn't have the right to say anything. He should shut up and encourage is followers to do the same. CockPit: |
