Lmao.
To make it worse, Ojukwu himself contested against OBJ and lost in the SE even his own state sef.
We are talking about Ojukwu.
Who is more igbo than ikenga himself nau😭.
Abi nor be bianca slap ex governor wife and nothing happen. Do you know what kind of street cred you need to have for that
Ojukwu contested in 2003.

4 years after

Orji Uzor Kalu (PDP)
Mbadiniju (PDP)
Sam Egwu (PDP)
Achieve Udenwa (PDP)
Chimaroke Nnamani (PDP)

Have tasted power as part of a national coalition which also happens to be the dominant party nationally, as well as the ruling party.

Im very surprised that the PDP governors looking for second term and looking to improve their influence didn't all line up behind the Biafra party.

It's almost as if these guys -

OUK - PDP
Ngige- PDP
Sam Egwu - PDP
Chimaroke - PDP
Udenwa - PDP

All won governorship in SE completely coincidentally in the subsequent 2003 elections.

Probably a coincidence that Ojukwu's party also flopped at governorship level that year as well.

Anybody who has even a basic interest in Nigerian politics knows the roles of Governors in delivering their state during presidential elections.

I really hate how I have to spoon-feed you in what is an abundantly clear submission.

Time for CBN to release more circulars.
Below were my predictions last year October. But things might even be much worse than anticipated.

A001:
If Atiku and Obi join forces in 2027, Tinubu can't defeat such an alliance. You don't even know how the condition of the country will be by 2027 at the end of Tinubu's first term, you don dey mention 2031.

How much do you think fuel will be sold per liter by 2027? Possibly around 2000–3000 naira unless subsidy is reintroduced. Dollar nko. That one go exceed 2000 naira per USD by then if things continue like this.

When the time reach, no one go force Nigerians to come out enmasse and protest for better living conditions.

Too many dumb and docile people in this country. When it's trivial issues about religion, you'll see the stupid people on the streets in high numbers, taking up a fight they should leave for their god.

But when it comes to key issues that affect them directly about governance, they become dumb and docile and leave the matter for god.

Bunch of morons and dolts.

The political class in Nigeria are just so wicked and callous. The masses are suffering, and many people have turned to beggars on streets of Lagos and other places, but the looting of billions of naira by the politicians continues steadily.

No money to pay subsidy, but there's more than enough for the politicians to loot.

So many dumb people in this country. No leader can try this in a country with many smart people.

Unfortunately, if Tinubu could win with the Naira scarcity, fuel scarcity and hardship shortly before the election, I don't see anything stopping him in 2027.

Forget all the cries of hardship. When the time for election comes, tribal sentiments will still prevail and people will collect money to vote as always.

And don't forget the elephant in the room...INEC

This was my lectue to you on this very issue almost 2 years ago now.
nihilistjnr:
And Ad Nauseum I have asked you to point out an election year in the last 23 where SE as a region has failed to vote PDP in presidential elections.

Once again you didn't have the answer.

PDP has won the region every election year in 23 years because savvy politicians of SE extraction went to join PDP due to its branding as the most connected party in the country. In 23 years of Democracy, PDP controlled Abuja for 16.

Any politician that has Federal ambition has typically tread the Umbrella route. Thus since 1999, the overwhelming majority if Governors from the SE have been members of the PDP. Afterall Obi left APGA for PDP to compete on a presidential ticket

It has nothing to do be competence or any other nebulous concepts you've given us. If most SE Governors are PDP members, then it's no surprise that PDP Sweeps their states.

What is surprising to me is your claim that Obi has SE on lock. Why would SE suddenly buck 23 years of established patterns to vote enmasse for a nigga who needed 2 court declarations to become Governor?

Why would a region with 2 pdp Governors and 2APC Governors suddenly now vote Obi in elections unless its because....he's tbe only southeasterner on the ballot?

The PDP was seen as an Igbo party. Therefore, the PDP was cardinal and more important than any other condisideration to Igbos.

If the PDP fielded a stick, it would win in the South East.

"A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and former minister of aviation, Osita Chidoka, has said the South-East geo-political zone should back the party in the 2023 elections, claiming that it would be unwise for Igbos to leave the party they have supported since 1999."

"He added that advocates of an Igbo presidency outside the PDP are not wrong, but maintained that the main opposition party is the shortest route for the Igbos to clinch the presidency."

So when they voted against Ojukwu....and other candidates that have contested from SE, it was because of umbrella....

But when they voted for Obi, umbrella didn't matter again..it is now because of tribe.

This argument is akin to when APC miscreants were doing everything possible to make us see that tinubu wasn't the only evil candidate pre election time. They agreed that their man was evil, but they wanted the tag to go around the rest of the candidates.
Ojukwu contested Senate election vs a fellow Ibo and lost

Maybe it's more to do with him as a candidate

The Igbos that didn't vote Ojukwu who is more igbo than anybody decided that it would suddenly be tribalistic for an Obi with no support.

Are you not seeing the logic?
Are you saying the Igbos love Ojukwu and not Obi.
I mean from the permutations, both of them didn't have a pathway to aso rock.

So explain that to me?

I found it particularly insidious to imply that the Obi vote in the SE was not more or less just the typical bloc PDP vote
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 5:15pm On Feb 15, 2024
All the presidents the Igbos have supported have who won have delivered.
And those they didn't support who won, have so far destroyed the country.
But that's story for another day😁

Igbo's love Ojukwu and how many Governors has Ojukwu's party produced in the South East since 2003?

Bianca Ojukwu, his wife and an actual board member of APGA could not even win primaries within APGA as a party for a senatorial seat.
The Ojukwu brand is toxic to federal ambition.

Stop chatting nonsense.

This was my explanation to you back then

nihilistjnr:
The other argument you're making about Ojukwu is bereft of basic logic.

Ojukwu formed APGA.

APGA Governors have ruled Anambra since 2006, yet in that time PDP has swept all presidential elections in the state. There is no way that the APGA structure in Anambra are voting APGA at presidential level

PDP Governors have historically dominated all other states in SE.

Is it a surprise that SE politicians who want to be relevant at Federal level are not queuing up behind the man/party that led a secessionist attempt that ended in a 3 year civil war?

Why would any federally ambitious politician cast their lot with the very definition of a regional brand?

Why did Peter Obi himself japa from APGA?

This is politics young man, not idealistic waffle.
