Sportsweb:Please go back to the beginning of the brouhaha. If you can't, you may not need to contribute. Obi is actually irrelevant. |

Itsrm:Truthfully, even though house prices Don Dey rise lately, housing in PH is bae tbh |

Unlimited22:And there is a house for everybody. The beautiful thing is, the core of the town is not so big. None of that walking up by 4am to get to work before 8 that Lagos people do just because they want to save on rent. Even if you live in Oyigbo and work in town, it won't take more than an hour using public transport. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 6:33pm On Feb 16, 2024 |
Itsrm:Then your salary fit be likw 4m per month Na una dey chopall our money |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Unlimited22: 6:42pm On Feb 16, 2024 |
Itsrm:I once was going from my family house in Oyigbo to work in Rukpakwulusi New Layout, close to Eliozu bridge. I go comot house by 7 and get to work before 8. My uncle has a 2-bed inside Rumuigbo New Layout, on the East - West Road axis before you get to Obirikwerre flyover. It's 1.5m in a secure neighborhood with light water and furnishing. For my other uncle side for Rumuokwurusi, better selfcon no pass 300. Even inside GRA, 2bed na from 2.5-3m. Guy housing really dey give me hope for Port Harcourt. And the recent road repairs and constructions have helped to ease movement to the extent that I can stay in Oyigbo and work in Borikiri and still get to work on time. |

Unlimited22:By light and water you mean grid and borehole? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 6:54pm On Feb 16, 2024 |
Itsrm:You guys are stealing a living in that PH. Around that 2006-07, my salary was about 200k yet 2 bedroom wey I dey price for James Robertson in Surulere was about 600K per year and need 2yrs plus agreement caution, agency making it about 1.5M |

Who agrees with him?

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Sportsweb: 6:59pm On Feb 16, 2024 |
GrammarNazi1:Sir, I agree with you. It's better we stop talking about irrelevant people like Obi here and focus on Tinubu and what he's cooking for us. I agree with you 100% |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 7:16pm On Feb 16, 2024 |
raumdeuter:Cost of rent in Lagos is absolutely ridiculous. Someone I know paid 3.6m for a 2 bedroom apartment and it's not like the house is in lekki. I wonder how much 2 bedroom apartments go for in places like Lekki and VI. I can't think of anywhere in PH where two bedroom apartments cost 3.6m. Not even Harmony Estate With 1.5m, you can rent a duplex here. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Unlimited22: 7:21pm On Feb 16, 2024 |
Itsrm:Lol enter Hill view Estate Rumuogba. Or some of those chic places for GRA phase 2 and 3. Or even Forces Avenue for Old GRA. If you go see. Nevertheless, rent is bae here. |

GloriousGbola:The sealing move makes no sense . How can u be sealing a business premises because the seller is jacking up selling price due to increase in cost price ? 🤷🏼♂️ No be the seller say make dollar dey jump against the dollar every eke market day . |

Sportsweb:Not when Obi is also a career politician! |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Sportsweb: 7:31pm On Feb 16, 2024 |
GrammarNazi1:he is not the president, nor senator or hold any government position, so he is basically irrelevant in the scheme of things. Like we agreed he is irrelevant and all attention should be on Our President. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 7:35pm On Feb 16, 2024 |
Unlimited22:Even in those places, it's very rare. Max I've seen is 3.5m and even that is a fully furnished apartment. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 7:37pm On Feb 16, 2024 |
GloriousGbola:I am always skeptical of populist moves like thus as I feel they don't address the root cause but just seek to scapegoat some people. I am not an economist and don't know what theory this follows but it sounded like when Emefiele blamed Naira depreciation on abokifx. I believe in free market. If you hoard goods to speculate and prices tank you will end up eating your grains by yourself Those who know what war against hoarding will achieve in the long term can shed more light It's similar to Buhari flogging hoarders in 1984 |

Sportsweb:Obi is a career politician and one of the people who destroyed this country. He will continue to get criticism if he wants to climb up the political ladder. |

GrammarNazi1:Go to Anambra and South East and see what he did there. That's why I laugh at those praising Obi. He's irrelevant and shouldn't be brought up here. Now, let's talk about our President and how to move our country forward |
