My darling club Bendel insurance is in Lagos to keep a date with sporting Lagos in continuation of the Nigerian Premier league.
Sporting Lagos are fighting tooth and nail to avoid relegation and have made some vital mid season signings to beef up the team by recruiting Wisdom Fernando from Akwa United and Tochukwu Michael from Kwara united and other players too and this has started yielding dividend as sporting Lagos defeated Rivers United in a rescheduled match on Wednesday by a lone goal.
On the other hand,the Adaa Bendel boys have lost their star defender Benjamin Taminu to Ihefu of Tanzania and Ezekiel Tamara to Alnaft of Iraq and I will be watching with keen interest if the player that will step on their shoes will come good.
For the bettors, I think this match will be a home win for sporting Lagos as I have observed that Bendel insurance do lose to relegation threatened teams away haven lost to Heartland and Bayelsa United.
