This week, a new football club was launched in the second tier of the Nigerian League, the Nigerian National League (NNL). The SPORTING LAGOS Club as the name goes was unveiled in Lagos on Sunday by the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Paystack, Shola Akinlade. According to Shola, they’re trying to create a modern football club to incubate the next generation of Nigerian sporting talent. During the unveiling, Godwin Enakhena, a renowned journalist was appointed as the first ever chairman of the club. The Sporting Lagos started their league campaign in the NNL with a 1-1 draw with GO Round FC of Omoku, Rivers State in the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos on Saturday. https://koksnation..com/2022/02/nnl-news-new-nigerian-club-sporting.html
