Wike's Supporters led by Dr. Obinna Anyanwu the Etche LGA Chairman and his Chief of Staff Mr. Nwanko Ikechi attacked pro-Fubara support group in Etche LGA

The attack came when the pro Fubara group in Etche Local Government held a Thanksgiving service for the victory of the Rivers State Governor at the Supreme Court, the incident has been drawn condemnation online as it was said to portrait the Pro Wike group as the masterminders of political crisis in the state.

Chairman of council, Dr. Obinna Anyanwu, DSSRS, sponsored thugs that invaded, attacked, and destroyed our equipments meant for the thanksgiving party of supporters of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, at Afara community in Etche on Sunday said one Mr. Monday who was beaten at the venue.

The local government chairman, Dr. Obinna Anyanwu, instructed, directed and sponsored individuals, that attacked and burnt down all equipments which includes sound systems, generating set, canopies, chairs, decorations and others were all set ablaze at the venue

He should make sure he work for his people,show tangible development and the people will form his support base.

The level of unseriousness on the part of some or even most Nigerians is why this country remains stagnant. Take Rivers State for example, ever since the Supreme Court delivered its judgement on the 25th of January, all you hear are adverts everywhere and thanksgiving services. Instead of asking how the governor is using our resources so far, they are looking for how to get and share what I term as political money, since what most people do nowadays is politics. It is a shame.
